Each lock half has a longitudinal leg with a center rib, which faces away from its continuous back portion and separates bearing shells for chain links, and a cross leg arranged on one end of the longitudinal leg. Projections and receiving pockets are provided on the front ends of the longitudinal legs facing away from the cross legs, and receiving pockets and projections matching the projections and receiving pockets on the longitudinal legs are provided on the sides of the cross legs facing the center ribs. The center ribs are mutually offset in the longitudinal direction of the identically constructed lock halves.

The projection (22) borders a pocket that extends from one side surface (20) to another side surface (21) of the lock half (2, 3) and accommodates a forked leg (26) of the other lock half (2, 3), which conforms to the contour of the pocket (23). Abstract: In the scraper for chain bands of double-center chain scraper conveyors, the chain shackle is shaped in such a way in the direction of the scraper longitudinal axis that, during mounting with an inserted double-center chain, the chain shackle first comes to bear on those two legs of the horizontal chain links located towards the center of the scraper, in order, when the screw connection is tightened further, additionally to clamp the outer legs of the chain links. When a defined mounting force has been reached, the inner and outer chain-link legs are clamped with the same force. The concave curvature of the shackle, in contrast to the straight shackle, prevents the shackle from lifting off from the inner chain-link legs due to the bearing effect of the outer chain-link legs. An always uniformly distributed and permanently firm and reliable chain clamping is thereby guaranteed.
