  • Patent number: 4941562
Abstract: The invention comprises an arrangement for transporting articles, in particular rectangular box-like packages into a single or plural paths packaging machine by at least one slider and a guiding flank. The arrangement includes a combined turning and collecting arrangement for the articles, respectively packages. The guiding flanks of this arrangement define the curved guiding paths which includes curved flanks which extend essentially angularly with respect to the transport direction and further include guide grooves which coact with the slider. By this arrangement, the articles, respectively packages are slidingly fed, turned and collected.

  • Patent number: 4767031
Abstract: The invention relates to a dosing and filling arrangement for containers of fluid or pasty masses, in particular contaminant-free nutrient material, such as milk, yogurt, pudding, desserts or the like. The arrangement includes a housing having two axially movable pistons. A first of such two pistons is a dosing piston and a second independently movable piston is the valve piston which is coaxially arranged relative to the dosing piston. The arrangement also has a mouthpiece on the lower side of the housing which is coaxial with the dosing and valve pistons. The valve piston rod is centrally arranged in a bore of the dosing piston and the hollow piston rod of the dosing piston is slidably movable in a cylinder of the housing. The piston rod has advantageously a plurality of equiangularly disposed longitudinal slots disposed on its periphery. The piston rod has a first control collar which coacts with the mouthpiece of the housing.

  • Patent number: 4611454
Abstract: A capping machine has a housing defining a capping station, a conveyor for transporting a longitudinally extending row of vessels through the station, and a magazine holding a supply of caps above the capping station. A gripper shaft extends along a transverse shaft axis in the station beneath the supply and carries at least one gripper that can cling to the caps in the magazine, typically by magnetic or pneumatic action. A rod fixed on and extending radially from the shaft can slide in a crosshead pivotal on the housing. A vertical guide on the housing vertically reciprocally receives the shaft. A drive connected between the shaft and the housing vertically displaces the shaft along the slot between upper and lower positions.
