  • Patent number: 10925150
Abstract: A printed circuit board includes a substrate having a plurality of stacked circuit board layers. The substrate has a top surface and a bottom surface. The printed circuit board includes a signal contact on the substrate. The signal contact has a signal via and a signal trace extending from the signal via. The signal via extends between the top surface and the bottom surface along a via axis. The printed circuit board includes an anti-pad around the signal via extending through the substrate along the via axis. The anti-pad extends between the top surface and the bottom surface. The anti-pad has a first width at the top surface and the lower anti-pad has a second width at the bottom surface different than the first width.

  • Patent number: 4044656
Abstract: The invention relates to a process and apparatus for pre-folding and unfolding of a closure on a folding box of rectangular cross-section, which closure is formed of the creased unslotted end portion of the walls of the box of which two opposite closure panels are each provided with a pair of creases running from the corners and converging toward the center of the margin so as to form triangular pockets upon folding. The device comprises two pairs of folding tools at 90.degree. to one another and means for displacing them. One of the pairs corresponding to the creased panels each is bifurcated with a folding tine which engages its panel at substantially one location during folding while the other tine in inactive and an unfolding tine which engages the opposite face of the same panel during unfolding while the folding tine is inactive.

  • Patent number: 4030616
Abstract: In a device for stripping empty containers from a plurality of mandrels associated with a mandrel wheel and comprising a mandrel wheel, a plurality of mandrels projecting radially from said wheel, means for rotating said wheel and said mandrels, and radially displaceable means for stripping empty containers from said mandrels, the improvement which comprises supporting means carried by said wheel in association with each mandrel and of such size that upon rotation of said wheel said stripping means contacts the supporting means of the next mandrel before it ceases to contact the supporting means of the immediately preceding mandrel, whereby the stripping means is always positively supported.

  • Patent number: 3998378
Abstract: A folding box having a liquid-tight sealed bottom of substantially rectangular configuration, the bottom being formed of first and second facing pairs of panels of the end section of the box wall which end section is not slit about its entire periphery, the pairs of panels being folded down on one another at 90.degree. to the longitudinal axis of the box, the first pair of panels each including a triangular area and two additional areas forming a folding pocket with the two additional areas lying over the triangular area, a fillet seam lying flat along the box bottom and formed of a narrow strip about the entire end section of the box wall, the central area of the bottom being arched toward the inside of the box, the box including a pair of parallel ridges at the sides of the bottom defining the second pair of panels, the ridges being elevated relative to the bottom in inverted position and tapering toward the first pair of panels.

  • Patent number: 3943834
Abstract: An apparatus for the folding and flat-sealing of the bottom of a liquid-proof package with a roof-shaped folded closure and inwardly folded gable walls starting with a tubular package blank, comprising a plurality of mandrels for carrying the blanks, means for advancing the mandrels progressively through a plurality of stations to be operated upon, means for folding gables on the blanks, and means for folding the roof on each blank after a gable folding operation, the means for folding the gables and the roof being positioned to operate on a blank in the course of the passage of said blank on a mandrel between two successive stations. Cams are provided so that while the operative members of the folding tools move relative to the blank in order to effect their folds, the points of initial contact between the operative members and blank are substantially maintained throughout the respective folding operation to minimize possiblity of damage to the coating with which such blanks are provided.
