  • Patent number: 9748622
Abstract: The invention relates to an improved tunable high frequency filter of coaxial construction, characterized, inter alia, by the following features: The high frequency filter comprises an outer conductor housing (24) having an inner conductor (10) and a housing cover (22); the resonator (1) comprises a tuning element (30) arranged opposite the inner conductor (10), which in the housing cover (22) is held position-adjustably in the axial position of the tuning element (30), at least indirectly, and which extends into the internal space of the resonator; the tuning element (30) comprises a dielectric material, or is formed from a dielectric material such that between the outer thread (32) and the inner thread (41), current transitions are avoided.

  • Patent number: 7777593
Abstract: An improved high frequency filter displays the following features: the high frequency filter displays transmission behavior with a coupling impedance resonance having at least one blocking point at a frequency, the blocking point at the frequency being adjustable by presetting and/or preselecting a defined capacitive and inductive coupling between two coaxial resonators, one immediately following the other on a signal path.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: August 17, 2010
    Assignee: Kathrein-Werke KG
    Inventor: Wilhelm Weitzenberger
  • Patent number: 7486162
Abstract: An improved high frequency filter of coaxial construction comprises one or more resonators having an electrically conductive internal conductor configured as an internal conductive tube and an electrically conductive external conductor. An electrically conductive base electrically interconnects the internal conductor and the external conductor. A cover covers the high frequency filter with respect to the base; and an inner side and outer side. The inner side points toward a free end of the internal conductive tube. A dielectric layer having a dielectric constant Er greater than 2 is arranged between the outer side of the cover and the free end of the internal conductive tube. The radial extent of the dielectric layer substantially covers the cross section of the internal conductive tube at the free end thereof.

  • Patent number: 6933804
Abstract: An improved radio frequency diplexer has resonators which are associated either with the transmission path or with the reception path, and at least two additional resonators are also provided. The at least two additionally provided resonators form an interconnection resonator pair which are strongly coupled to one another. Both the transmission path and the reception path are coupled to the second additional resonator, or both the transmission path and the reception path are coupled to the first additional resonator which is provided for inputting to/outputting from the common signal path.
