  • Patent number: 11207965
Abstract: A motor vehicle includes a transmission and a transmission fluid pump for transport of transmission oil to and within the transmission. The transmission fluid pump has a moving element which is coupled to a summation shaft of a planetary gear train. The planetary gear train has a ring gear which is operated by a first drive, and a sun gear which is operated by a second drive. A freewheel mechanism is arranged between the sun gear or a shaft connected to the sun gear and a further element so that the second drive can be switched off, when the first drive operates at high speeds while yet maintaining proper operation of the transmission fluid pump.

  • Patent number: 8931612
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for operating a parking lock of an automatic transmission in motor vehicles, with pawl which interacts with a ratchet wheel, which pawl is impinged upon by a spring energy accumulator (24) and for disengaging the parking lock can be hydraulically impinged upon against the preload force of the spring energy accumulator (24) by a hydraulic transmission control with corresponding control valves, wherein the control valves are controllable in accordance with operating parameters of the motor vehicle and a electromagnetically operable locking element (28), which in the controlled state in defined operating conditions additionally holds the pawl in the disengaged position. According to the invention, a purely hydraulically acting self locking valve (40) is integrated in the hydraulic transmission control (10), which locking valve maintains the controlled system pressure when the parking lock operation (14) is pressurized or when the parking lock is disengaged.

  • Patent number: 7241238
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for controlling the contact pressure of a transmission element of a continuously variable transmission, especially the traction element of a flexible drive for motor vehicles. The inventive device is provided with at least two levers as the transmission elements that provide the contact pressure depending on torque and ratio. Said levers are pivoted to the driving transmission elements and to the driven transmission elements and act upon an axially displaceable transmission element that indirectly or directly exerts the contact pressure via at least one rolling element each. The lever length effective to exert the contact pressure can be varied in accordance with the selected transmission ratio.
