Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing green bricks for the brick manufacturing industry includes mould containers which are placed on a chain conveyor and which are provided with movable bottoms. The green bricks are released by displacing the bottom of the mould containers. According to the invention the mould containers are combined to a mould container part and coupled to a chain part connectable to the chain. During exchange of mould containers the chain part remains coupled to the chain conveyor while the mould container part can be rapidly uncoupled and exchanged.

Abstract: A device for moulding brick blanks comprises a plurality of moulding troughs and a casting device for filling the moulding troughs, wherein the casting device comprises a carrier coupled with a casting mechanism and adapted to pivot by means of the casting mechanism between a receiving position and a delivery position. For mitigating or avoiding the drawbacks of the heavy shocks at the impact of the casting mechanism in the delivery position the casting mechanism is caused to drive and guide the carrier in a manner such that when approaching the delivery position the carrier is subjected to considerable deceleration.

Abstract: A device for moulding bricks comprising a press to form blanks, moulding trays and projecting means formed by a carrier surface for inverting a blank by moving it along a circular path and for projecting it into a moulding tray wherein the carrier surface is guided in a manner such that it performs a pivotal movement during the movement along the last part of the circular path.
