  • Publication number: 20220229537
Abstract: A device displays a clock face in response to receiving a request to display a clock face. In accordance with a determination that a respective graphical element is to be displayed at a respective location on the clock face, the clock face includes a plurality of analog-dial graphical elements corresponding to respective units of time, where the plurality of analog-dial graphical elements includes a first analog-dial graphical element that occupies a first position and has a first size. In accordance with a determination that the respective graphical element is not to be displayed at a respective location on the clock face, the clock face includes the plurality of analog-dial graphical elements corresponding to the respective units of time, and the first analog-dial graphical element of the plurality of analog-dial graphical elements occupies a second position and/or has a second size. • Publication number: 20220221964
Abstract: Context-specific user interfaces, e.g., for use with a portable multifunction device, provide, inter alia, indications of time and, optionally, a variety of additional information. A user interface screen including a current time indicator and a first platter is displayed. The first platter is at a first position, is associated with a first application, and displays a first set of information obtained from the first application. The first set of information relates to a first temporal context of the current day. In response to detecting a user input, the first platter is displayed at a second position and a second platter is displayed at the first position. The second platter is associated with a second application and displays a second set of information obtained from the second application. The second set of information relates to a second temporal context of the current day.

  • Patent number: 11372659
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to managing user interface sharing. A computer system receives a representation of a first user interface template that specifies an arrangement of user interface elements. The computer system receiving a request to use the first user interface template for a respective computer system that includes a plurality of installed applications. The computer system initiates a process for creating a user interface for the respective computer system using the first user interface template. The process includes, in accordance with a determination that a first application is not available on the respective computer system, displaying an alert indicating that the first application needs to be installed on the respective computer system. The process includes, in accordance with a determination that the first application is available on the respective computer system, forgoing displaying the alert.

  • Publication number: 20220198984
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to a dynamic user interface having an indication of time. The dynamic user interface having the indication of time further includes one or more geometric regions that intersect the indication of time, such that colors of the indication of time are different on opposite sides of a boundary of the one or more geometric regions that intersect the indication of time. The one or more geometric regions may shift and/or change over time, thereby providing a custom and/or unique dynamic user interface having the indication of time.

  • Patent number: 11331007
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and processes for monitoring a workout and for generating improved interfaces for the same. One example user interface detects when a workout of a particular type is started and begins generating activity data related to workout metrics associated with the type of workout selected. Using determined current values for the workout metrics, the example user interface displays a pro-view display that includes indicators for the workout metrics associated with the selected workout type. The pro-view display also includes a focus indicator that highlights a selected indicator representative of a focused workout metric. The focus indicator is movable among the indicators representative of the workout metrics based on user input. Upon detection of a gesture, the example user interface transitions to a simple-view display that includes an indicator representative of the focused workout metric.
