Abstract: There is provided an aerosol provision system for generating an aerosol from an aerosol-generating material during a session of use, the aerosol provision system including an aerosol-generating material, at least one heater configured to aerosolise the aerosol-generating material, and a plurality of substances disposed within the aerosol provision system and arranged to be released at different times during the session of use. A first substance of the plurality of substances is encapsulated by a first shell, and a second substance of the plurality of substances is encapsulated by a second shell.

Abstract: Aerosol provision devices are disclosed and can be configured for generating aerosol from aerosol-generating material. These devices can include a heating chamber for receiving the aerosol-generating material; at least one heating unit for heating the aerosol-generating material during a session of use; and an aperture, which fluidically connects the heating chamber with the exterior of the aerosol provision device. The aperture is suitably configured to reduce the risk of condensate accumulating within the device during use. The aperture can be non-circular. In some embodiments the device can include a plurality of apertures.

Abstract: An aerosol provision system for generating an aerosol for user inhalation comprises a cartridge comprising a housing containing an aerosolizable material, and an aerosol provision device having an interface configured operatively to receive the cartridge. The aerosol provision device is configured in use to cause the aerosolizable material to generate the aerosol for user inhalation by providing heat/power to the aerosol generating material. The cartridge includes a data storage unit configured to store information relating to the cartridge, the aerosol provision device being configured to detect the identifier stored in the data storage unit when cartridge is received by the aerosol provision device. Embodiments of the present technique can be arranged to provide a cartridge with data storage unit integrally formed with one or more walls of the cartridge's housing.
