Abstract: A digital image pick-up device for mounting on a high power monocular (telescope or spotting scope) includes an image pick-up unit located in a focal plane of the objective lens of the high power monocular (telescope or spotting scope); an angle-adjusting unit for adjusting an angle of the whole image pick-up device relative to the high power monocular (telescope or spotting scope); an image storage unit for storing images read in by the image pick-up unit; and a display unit for showing images read in by the image pick-up unit. When the digital image pick-up device is connected to a rear end of the high power monocular (telescope or spotting scope) with an eyepiece of the latter removed therefrom, an economical and convenient high power monocular (telescope or spotting scope) and camera combination is formed to enable picking up, processing, storing, and displaying of images in a digitalized manner.
