Abstract: Disclosed herein is a disinfecting container for a good or piece of equipment. The disinfecting container includes a body in which to place the good or piece of equipment. The body has an internal recess that has an interior reflective surface. The disinfecting cabinet also includes a cover that is attached or attachable to the body. There is at least one UV emitting light within the container. The disinfecting container also includes a control system that is operatively associated with a power source to turn on or off the at least one UV emitting light. The UV emitting light emits UV light at a wave length and for a predetermined period to achieve substantial disinfection of the good or piece of equipment.
