Abstract: A fishing line signal device consisting of an elongated base plate having a reel mounted thereon and spaced from said reel is a cam faced pulley having a fish line wound thereabout and dropped therefrom into the water, a spring rod mast having a flag on the end thereof is retained in a bent over position by a projecting ledge against the cam face whereby a fish bite tugs the line sufficiently to rotate the pulley and move the mast to be free of the ledge and spring to an upright position signaling a bite.

Abstract: A wire forming machine in which the coil forming deflection tools are mounted on carriages and have one position to form a coil of a preset diameter and are automatically moved to a second position to continue forming the coil with a second diameter and in which one deflection tool having a tiltable head portion is arranged to be positioned automatically to form a true square corner by overbending the wire engaged.

Abstract: This invention relates to a wire spring forming machine which consists of structure comprising endless wire feeding rollers which move continuously in a wire feeding direction and feed wire without interruption except for the cutting of each spring as it is formed and this is a substantial improvement over the prior art or general use made of segmental or rack gears which require a reversal of movement to a start position of the gears used for each increment of wire fed for each spring formed and which represents a loss of time during which the structure herein would be forming another spring.
