  • Publication number: 20240066590
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to partial integrated core-shell investment casting molds that can be assembled into complete molds. Each section of the partial mold may contain both a portion of a core and portion of a shell. Each section can then be assembled into a mold for casting of a metal part. The partial integrated core-shell investment casting molds and the complete molds may be provided with filament structures corresponding to cooling hole patterns on the surface of the turbine blade or the stator vane, which provides a leaching pathway for the core portion after metal casting. The invention also relates to core filaments that can be used to supplement the leaching pathway, for example in a core tip portion of the mold.

  • Publication number: 20230381621
Abstract: A robotic training device, system and method duplicates and guides a golfer through a perfect golf swing in several modes. The exoskeleton-like robotis device, and system utilizes a training method that employs a combination of either pneumatic, electrics or Bowden cables with small motors and actuators, which embraces the golfer so he/she can experience the “feel” and body movements that make a perfect golf swing and learn to perform the motion without the training device. Similarly, the robot training device, system may assist patients in rehabilitation from injuries, stroke, chronic illness or other conditions involving muscular atrophy.

  • Publication number: 20140257912
Abstract: Sales transaction data of products sold at a store of a retailer is employed to identify opportunities to reallocate product inventory among the products based on characteristics of sales of the products. The sales transaction data is employed to determine characteristics of product sales, including, e.g., sales volume and sell-through. The number of units of products inventoried in a store can be reallocated based on sales volume and sell-through of the products indicated by the sales transaction data. After reallocation to determine new inventory levels for the products, an estimate of sales performance for the products can be determined at the new inventory levels and the estimated sales can be compared to past actual sales measurements to determine the potential effect of changing the number of units of products allocated to inventory in a store in a retail chain of a retailer.

  • Patent number: 8186747
Abstract: The present invention provides an integrated composite floor unit and front wall assembly that can be used in a variety of structures. The integrated composite floor unit and front wall assembly is formed of a floor unit having a front portion and a front wall integrally formed with and rising up from the front portion of the floor unit. The assembly can include other structural features and may be easily combined with a number of further structural components to form a structure. In specific embodiments, the assembly forms part of a modular trailer. In particular, the trailer can be formed of the composite assembly, a composite roof, composite side walls, and a composite rear frame. Such composite trailers advantageously provide a storage volume approximately equal to or greater than conventional trailers but are lighter in weight, thus allowing for storage and/or hauling of a greater weight of cargo than in conventional trailers.
