  • Process for the preparation of polyester compositions having increased melt elasticity

    Abstract: The melt elasticity of high molecular weight linear polyesters is enhanced by adding a minor proportion of an organic polyepoxide, and heating the resulting mixture. The products of the process are suitable for injection or extrusion blow molding and blown film extrusion.
