Abstract: Disclosed is a device (100) for treatment of anal fistula. The device comprises a hollow wire (110) comprising a first end (112) and a second end (114) opposite to the first end, the hollow wire is operable to be received by a fistula track with both first and second ends projecting out of the fistula track. The device also comprises an insert (120) operable to be partially inserted into the first end of the hollow wire and to project out of the first end. The device further comprises an applicator (130) operable to be removably arranged on the second end of the hollow wire when the hollow wire is placed in the fistula track. The applicator is operable to be held for enabling the projected out insert to be inserted into second end for detachably coupling the first and second ends to form a closed loop around the fistula track.

Abstract: A size-adjustable seton (1) for treating fistulae (32) is provided with first and second wire ends (4, 6), which are provided with connecting means (8, 10) for, in a connected state, forming a smooth connection (12); in such a way, the seton (1) is a smooth, closed loop (3). The invention also relates to a method of forming the closed loop using the aforesaid seton (1), and a melt clamp (40) for use when placing the seton (1) in a person (30).

Abstract: Disclosed is a detachable anchor for a guiding tool of a minimally invasive surgery. The detachable anchor includes a hollow elongate member arranged to coaxially fit over a shaft of the guiding tool. The detachable anchor also includes an expandable sleeve having a first end and a second end. The expandable sleeve is at least partially double wall structure consisting of an inner wall and an outer wall. The walls are attached to each other at least at the second end of the sleeve. Further, the sleeve is attached at its first end to the hollow clongate member and has an inlet for inflating medium.
