Abstract: A wet cleaning apparatus including a cleaner head and an underpressure generator arrangement, is described. The cleaner head has at least one dirt inlet, and a porous material covering the at least one dirt inlet. The underpressure generator arrangement includes an underpressure generator to provide a flow inside the wet cleaning apparatus for drawing fluid into the at least one dirt inlet through the porous material. The underpressure generator arrangement controls the flow based on a pressure on the inside of the wet cleaning apparatus between the porous material and the underpressure generator.

Abstract: Provided is a cleaner head for a wet cleaning apparatus. The cleaner head has at least one cleaning liquid outlet through which cleaning liquid is deliverable. The cleaner head also has at least one dirt inlet for receiving dirty liquid from a surface to be cleaned. A porous material layer covers each of the at least one dirt inlet. A liquid pick-up region of the porous material layer is delimited by sealing attachment of the porous material layer around the at least one dirt inlet. The liquid pick-up region is arranged relative to each of the at least one cleaning liquid outlet such that the liquid pick-up region is bypassed by the cleaning liquid delivered towards the surface to be cleaned. Further provided is a wet cleaning apparatus comprising the cleaner head, and an attachable member for attaching to a wet cleaning apparatus.

Abstract: A cleaner head for a wet cleaning apparatus includes a portion for facing a surface to be cleaned, and a protruding element mounted adjacent the portion. The protruding element protrudes from the cleaner head in the direction of the surface to be cleaned. The cleaner head is permitted to be rocked on the protruding element to cause the portion to contact the surface to be cleaned. The protruding element includes a porous material. The cleaner head also includes at least one dirt inlet for receiving dirty liquid from the surface to be cleaned when suction is applied to the at least one dirt inlet. The porous material covers the at least one dirt inlet.

Abstract: Provided is a wet cleaning apparatus comprising a cleaner head. The cleaner head has at least one dirt inlet, and a porous material comprising a porous material layer sealingly attached to the at least one dirt inlet. The wet cleaning apparatus also comprises an underpressure generator arrangement comprising an underpressure generator. The underpressure generator has an underpressure generator outlet. The underpressure generator is activatable to provide a flow from the at least one dirt inlet to and through the underpressure generator outlet, and deactivatable to cease the flow. The underpressure generator arrangement is configured to restrict the passage of fluid from the underpressure generator outlet towards the at least one dirt inlet at least when the underpressure generator is deactivated. In another aspect, a cleaner head includes a valve assembly configured to restrict backflow towards a porous material layer sealingly attached to dirt inlet(s).
