A light support member is disposed in the inner receiving area and supports a plurality of light sources. An axial opening extends through each of the cover and base, respectively. The axial opening has a central opening portion for receiving a support structure and an access opening portion. A mounting segment is releasably engagable with the housing and receivable in the access opening portion of the housing whereby removal of the segment provides access to the central opening portion and allows mounting of the housing on the support structure.

Abstract: An emergency sign including a vertically extending sign body having a lower panel portion and an upper container portion. The panel portion includes laterally spaced right and left panels where at least one of the panels has a stencil forming the sign display. The upper container portion is in optical communication with the display and forms a longitudinally extending container. A light module disposed within the container portion of the housing has multiple light emitting diodes for illuminating the display. A swivel mounting assembly pivotally connects the container portion of the housing to a mounting plate assembly which receives a mechanical mounting member of the external electrical supply to mount the sign to a structure.

Abstract: An adapter for converting multiple electrochemical cells into a desired battery configuration, in particular D size cells into a lantern battery configuration. The adapter is a one piece receptacle structure with a hinged section openable for removal and replacement of spent cells. The adapter further contains a one-piece conductive member, comprised of a substrate with conductive elements, for electrical interconnection of all of the cells with each other and with the external electrical terminals of the adapter. The one-piece conductive member permits the inserted cells to be aligned in a single direction.

Abstract: A disposable film developing assembly comprises a container having a developing chamber and an additional chamber upstream thereof for receiving a film wrap. A developer envelope containing film treating fluid is disposed inside the container, tabs on the envelope being connected to the container for tearing open the envelope and permitting the release of fluid therefrom upon a withdrawal of the envelope from the container. Linking elements for coupling a film to the envelope are provided, whereby the film is drawn from the film wrap into the developing chamber during a withdrawal of the envelope from the container. The envelope has a fluid containing pocket with a pair of longitudinally staggered extensions projecting from the longitudinal edges of the envelope towards the longitudinal edges of the container. Tabs are connected to the envelope at the extensions of the envelope pocket and are folded at creases over the respective extensions.
