  • Publication number: 20230286076
Abstract: A welding method materially cohesively bonding at least two components using at least one additive material. A welding seam is produced with a seam course between a seam start and a seam end. The process is controlled using at least one control unit, at least one external physical welding seam property of the welding seam is influenced by a control parameter of the control unit, and information is included in the control parameter. The information, during the process is stored in the welding seam between a start point and an end point in the seam course using the at least one external physical welding seam property so that the information can be read, optically and/or haptically, from a sequence of the at least one detectable external physical welding seam property along the course of the seam in the region between the start point and the end point.

  • Patent number: 9089920
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for changing a welding process during a welding operation, wherein the change is carried out from a welding process that was conducted to a subsequent welding process during a short circuit between a melting welding wire and a workpiece, and to a method for applying heat prior to a welding operation. In order to achieve a welding process with high process stability, it is provided that, upon detecting the short circuit of the welding process that is conducted, the welding wire (9) is still moved for a defined duration (32) in the movement direction and subsequently stopped, depending on a threshold value (34) of the welding current (I) of the subsequent welding process, whereupon upon reaching the threshold value (34) of the welding current (I), the welding wire (9) is moved in the opposite direction in order to start the subsequent welding process.

  • Patent number: 4649982
Abstract: A venetian blind is disclosed having a drive transmission, a lift safety, and an anti-twist safety. The slats are arranged in a stationary frame, and a movable carriage is coupled to at least one of the slats. The carriage moves along a part of the stationary frame for raising and lowering the slats. The lift safety includes a lever or locking pawl mounted on the carriage and positioned to be engaged by a projection on a lift chain or strap. The lever is mounted on the carriage so that the distance between the point of mounting and a point of contact between the lever and the stationary frame decreases as the lever becomes perpendicular to the raising direction. As a result, the lever locks the carriage in position at unauthorized lifting and stops are positioned on the carriage for holding the lever in the locking position. In addition, when the lever is pulled upward from the locking position, it pivots quickly around one of the stops and away from the stationary frame.

  • Patent number: 4155301
Abstract: A fly press has a frame and a press screw rotatably mounted in said frame, and a flywheel attached for rotation with the press screw at one end, and a hydraulically driven ram rotatably attached to the other end of the press screw. An upper thrust bearing appears at one side of the frame for engagement by the flywheel, and a lower thrust bearing appears at the other side of the frame for engagement by a collar carried by the press screw. The upper and lower thrust bearings are spring biased in opposite directions. The abutment for the upper press bearing is engaged without impact when the collar disengages from the lower thrust bearing after the press blow to reduce the destructive effects on the bearing by press blows and return of the ram.
