  • Patent number: 11408545
Abstract: A clamping clip, including a clamping band the two end portions of which overlap one another in a closed condition of the clamping clip forming an inner band portion and an outer band portion, the clamping band including a first tensioning hook arranged on the outer band portion, and a second tensioning hook arranged on the inner band portion, the second tensioning hook including an inclined surface facing the outer band portion as a ramp, wherein at least one of the first tensioning hook and the second tensioning hook includes a plurality of projections facing away from the other of the first tensioning hook and the second tensioning hook.

  • Publication number: 20190257452
Abstract: The clamping clip described here includes a clamping band the two end portions of which overlap each other in the closed condition of the clamping clip. A tongue disposed on the overlapped inner band portion is received by a tongue channel provided on the overlapping outer band portion, the shape of the tongue channel being complementary to the shape of the tongue. The tongue has a root part in which the tongue width, measured in the axial direction of the clamping clip, decreases from the full clamping band width to a smaller value, and an end part adjoining the root part, in which the tongue width constantly has the smaller value.

  • Patent number: 10267442
Abstract: A diameter variable hose clamp includes a clamping band having end portions which mutually overlap in the closed condition of the hose clamp. The inner end portion carries a tongue which has a width smaller than the full width of the clamping band, and hooks for closing of the hose clamp. The outer end portion is provided with openings for receiving the hooks, an ear-like tightening device for tightening the hose clamp around an object to be clamped, and an arcuate band portion for receiving the tongue. The arcuate band portion is cut free from the clamping band by longitudinal cuts in forming lateral band webs.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 9816654
Abstract: In a rapid coupling, a pipe nipple engages a through hole of a socket. A first annular groove provided on the pipe nipple serves to catch a locking ring provided in the socket, in order to lock the coupled condition. A sleeve is movable on the pipe nipple, the sleeve having an inner projection to be retained by the first annular groove of the pipe nipple in a pre-assembled condition. When the pipe nipple is inserted into the socket, the sleeve abuts the socket and is then moved along the pipe nipple until the inner projection is caught by a second annular groove if the coupling is properly locked. It the pipe nipple is not moved into the socket to such an extent that the locking ring is caught by the first annular groove, the second annular groove remains visible outside the sleeve to indicate the improper coupling condition.

  • Patent number: 8424167
Abstract: Connecting the two band ends 10, 18 of a hose clamp is done by means of a guide hook 16 disposed on an inner band portion and engaging a guide hook receiving means 12 on the outer band end 10, and a support hook 17 also formed on the inner band portion and engaging a support hook receiving means 13 on the outer band portion. The support hook receiving means 13 is an embossment formed from the band material by cold deformation and being continuous with the band material on all sides, the inner surface of the support hook receiving means 13 having a support portion 25 adjacent to the outer band end 10 and extending at right angles with respect to the band surface. The support hook 17 has a nose 26 which faces away from the inner band end 18 and has a cut edge which nicks into the support portion 25 of the support hook receiving means 13 when the hose clamp is tightened.
