  • Patent number: 4781608
Abstract: A receptacle in the form of a clip for busbar holders that are made of plastic. The holder consists of a mounting plate that has margins which are inwardly recessed and project beyond their wider sides along its longitudinal edges. Each clip extends out of a web that fits under the recessed margins. The holders can be suspended and have parallel busbars. The ends of the webs, which constitute a component of the clips, are trimmed narrower. The webs are twice as long as the clips and have an extension that fits under the recessed margins of the mounting plate. The clips are cast onto one end of the webs with allowance left for the extension. The side of the webs that faces away from the clips has a positioning pin that extends into apertures provided for that purpose in the mounting plate.

  • Patent number: 4700023
Abstract: A trackless, center-pivot underground vehicle is described, which has a tractor section, which is driven by an electric motor, which is powered via a sliding contact line, a current collector device, which is movable along the contact line line, and a supply cable, which is electrically and mechanically connected to the current collector device and adapted to be unwound from a reel against a restoring force. An improved mobility of the vehicle and a large width range throughout the range of travel are ensured by the combination of the following features:a. the supply cable is connected to the current collector device by a slip ring member, which is rotatable about a vertical axle;b. a helically winding cable reel is mounted on the tractor section and rotatable about a vertical axle, which is provided with a slip ring member;c. a guide arm is coaxially arranged with respect to the cable reel and adapted to be pivotally movable by hydraulic means; andd.

  • Patent number: 4412107
Abstract: An elongated rail conductor has a rail formed with a groove for a current take-off, and a synthetic plastic housing which surrounds the rail but leaves access to the groove. The edge faces bounding the groove are inwardly offset from the corresponding edges of the casing, so that the moving current take-off cannot contact and wear the edges of the casing.

  • Patent number: 4236616
Abstract: A current collector shoe traveling along a multipole slide wire with sliding contacts projecting from the sides and spring-mounted in the shoe. Breakouts extend between the lengthwise sides for cassettes insertable from either side, with the sliding contacts being spring-mounted in the cassettes. The cassettes may be made of non-conducting material, and a brass sleeve may be inserted between the cassettes and the sliding contacts. The cassettes may be detachably detented in the collector shoe and have projections on their face side to contact the collector shoe from the outside during installation. Each sliding contact may be engaged by a compression spring and connected rigidly to it, with a Z-shaped sheet metal member having a leg fastened to a free end of the spring and contacting the cassette bottom, with the other leg fastened to the collector shoe on the outside. The compression spring may be a flat strip spring.
