Patent number: 10527176Abstract: A seat valve with electromagnetic actuation having switching noises during closure of the seat valve should be noticeably reduced independently of a temperature of a fluid in the seat valve, without considerably increasing the production costs of the seat valve. A sealing body of the seat valve is produced from a plastic which is selected from the group (PEEK, PEI, PASU and LCP), and the flow of force for fastening and for transmitting structure-borne sound from a sealing seat to a fastening surface has at least one transition from a metallic component to a component composed of plastic and a transition from the component composed of plastic to a fastening surface of some other metallic component. The seat valve may be used in hydraulic brake systems of vehicles, but also in gear mechanisms or hydraulic systems.Type: GrantFiled: September 11, 2017Date of Patent: January 7, 2020Assignee: Thomas Magnete GmbHInventors: Wolfgang Petri, Stefan Pilz, Thomas Lütz, Marco Jung, Willi Schäfer, Julia Bieler

Patent number: 5425068Abstract: A support member for at least one piece of heavy medical equipment in a medical diagnostic station is made of fiber-reinforced plastic, and has a cross section which is longer in one direction than the other. The fiber-reinforced plastic serves as a shell surrounding a molding member, which may be lightweight plastic material, such that the fiber-reinforced plastic bears the loading on the member. The support member may be disposed for adjustable movement along its length by having metal guides received in the rollers of a carriage.Type: GrantFiled: May 4, 1993Date of Patent: June 13, 1995Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Willi Schaefer, Michael Meyer, Wolfgang Mittelstaedt, Lothar Heinz

Patent number: 5410584Abstract: An apparatus for supporting a radiation transmitter has a first C-arm carrying the radiation transmitter at one end thereof, which is mounted so as to be movable within a holder, the holder in turn being mounted so as to be movable along a second C-arm. The second C-arm is adjustably mounted within an installation room.Type: GrantFiled: April 7, 1994Date of Patent: April 25, 1995Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Willi Schaefer, Klaus Thormann, Olaf Bransky

Patent number: 5046708Abstract: A patient supporting table having a support plate that comprises a seating surface for a patient, and having a base member that carries the support plate, whereby the support plate is adjustable relative to the base member at least in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the patient supporting table. The underside of the support plate that faces away from the seating surface includes a surface of action that presses against a correspondingly shaped surface of action of the base member. The surfaces of action of the support plate and of the base member slide on one another when the support plate is adjusted relative to the base member.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 1990Date of Patent: September 10, 1991Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventor: Willi Schaefer
-
Patent number: 5029826Abstract: A patient supporting table having a support plate that includes a cut-out through which the body surface of a patient lying on the support plate is accessible for medical purposes. The cut-out is provided as a recess in one of the edges of the support plate, preferably in one of the longitudinal edges of the support plate.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 1990Date of Patent: July 9, 1991Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventor: Willi Schaefer
-
Patent number: 5018712Abstract: Patient supporting means having a patient supporting surface member that is mounted on a base by means of at least two longitudinal guides so as to be pivotable around a horizontal swiveling axis S. Central axes of the longitudinal guides are positioned within a plane E that extends perpendicularly to the swiveling axis X. The axes of the longitudinal guides describe an angle .alpha. that is less than 180.degree.. The longitudinal guides are pivotable about axes that extend parallel to the swiveling axis 5.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 1990Date of Patent: May 28, 1991Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventor: Willi Schaefer

Patent number: 5014969Abstract: A patient supporting table having a base member and a support plate adjustably carried on the base member. The support plate is provided with a cut-out through which the surface of a patient lying on the support plate is accessible for medical purposes. The base member comprises an opening the extent (b) of which is less than the extent (a) of the cut-out, so that the base member additionally supports a portion of a patient lying on the support plate in the region of the cut-out, particularly when the support plate is positioned relative to the base member such that the cut-out of the support plate leaves the opening of the base member free.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 1990Date of Patent: May 14, 1991Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventor: Willi Schaefer

Patent number: 4926456Abstract: An x-ray examination table comprises a table mounted on a pedestal which has a control box containing control elements for the device. The control box is displaceable in a longitudinal direction to the table so that a physician can easily reach the control elements in the control box given examination in the head area of the patient which is opposite to the position of the pedestal.Type: GrantFiled: November 28, 1988Date of Patent: May 15, 1990Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Hans-Christian Bock, Karlheinz Kaul, Willi Schaefer
-
Patent number: 4897861Abstract: The diaphragm plates are individually adjustable in two-dimensional fashion. Semi-transparent diaphragm sections at the edges of the diaphragm plates limiting the radiation are adjustable perpendicular to the respective edge with a lever linkage such that the semi-transparent region becomes larger when the diaphragm is closed. A feedback control unit is present for operation. This feedback control unit has two operating pieces as an operating mechanism, which are displaceable by a user to positions similar to the diaphragm plates, and are electrically coupled to the feedback control unit to cause movement of the diaphragm plates to a position corresponding to the position of the operating plates.Type: GrantFiled: June 20, 1988Date of Patent: January 30, 1990Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Willi Schaefer, Guenter Bartmann, Michael Meyer

Patent number: 4856741Abstract: An x-ray diagnostics installation has an adjustable patient support table, with a control box for positioning the table, the control box also being adjustable relative to the table. The control box is attached to a bracket which is mounted in the region of the foot end of the patient support table, and is displaceable via the bracket in a direction parallel to a longitudinal edge of the table.Type: GrantFiled: December 8, 1987Date of Patent: August 15, 1989Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventor: Willi Schaefer

Patent number: 4795142Abstract: A patient supporting table comprises a table top which is detachably held on a pedestal at one end. The table top is connected to the pedestal by a plug connection so that it can be detached from the pedestal by simply lifting a free end of the table top to detach a first group of plug connectors and then shifting the table top in a direction toward the free end to disconnect a second group of plug-type connections.Type: GrantFiled: April 1, 1988Date of Patent: January 3, 1989Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventor: Willi Schaefer

Patent number: 4442536Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment, an x-ray tube is mounted on a tube support arm carried on a separate tube stand. A layer rod releasably couples with the tube support arm for the purpose of aligning the x-ray tube relative to a displaceable radiographic installation on the underside of the patient support platform. The tube need not always be aligned relative to such radiographic installation, but may be aligned, according to requirements, relative to a second radiographic installation. In order to facilitate such change of alignment, the disclosure provides that the layer rod may be placed in a loosely coupled state relative to the tube support arm, and that it bears coupling surfaces which are capable of being brought into positive locking engagement with the tube support arm to effect automatic reorientation of the x-ray tube (without prior manual alignment of the x-ray tube to the radiographic installation) during recoupling operation.Type: GrantFiled: July 16, 1981Date of Patent: April 10, 1984Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventor: Willi Schaefer
