Abstract: A camera includes means for separating an image to be photographed into in plurality of picture elements. These picture elements are transmitted by means of fiber optics or by means of opto-electrical converters to a view finder which displays the image to be photographed as a raster image. Said means for separating the image to be photographed is arranged close to the plane of a film or in a plane conjugate to the plane of a film.

Abstract: A television system having a stereo loudspeaker system with a plurality of speakers and delay circuitry for successively delaying the left and right signals so that the speaker at the right end of the speaker arrangement receives the least delayed right signal and the most delayed left signal and the speaker at the left end of the speaker arrangement receives the least delayed left signal and the most delayed right signal.

Abstract: A decoder in a receiver for a two channel television sound comprises an adder and a subtractor for decoding a m.(L+R)-information on a first channel and a 2mR-information on a second channel into the right and left stereo signals. This decoder is also capable of receiving two mono signals for a bilingual transmission.

Abstract: A toaster has a casing, two or more walls of which define between themselves an upright food-receiving space, and a base defining with the lower edges of these walls a clearance open to the food-receiving space. A separate food carrier is insertable into the clearance so that food-holding portions of the carrier project from the clearance into the space. Heating elements toast or warm the food in the space. Guides are provided to facilitate insertion and withdrawal of the carrier from the clearance.

Abstract: A pick-up system includes means for recognizing the displacement of objects to be photographed relative to the optical reproduction plane. The shutter of the pick-up system is actuated according to the relative motion of said objects. In a pick-up system comprising a variable diaphragm and a replaceable film of a special sensitivity, e.g. in an automatic camera, the shutter speed, being a function of the relative motion of the objects, determines the aperture of the diaphragm with respect to the sensitivity of the film.

Abstract: A watch is provided with means for displaying time and date and day of the week etc. by means of liquid crystal elements or the like. The display elements are distributed regularly over tape-like means of almost uniform thickness together with means for generating time standard impulses, means for applying energy etc. Thus, a watch will be obtained which is not separated into a bracelet and a case of a wrist watch or into a clockwork and a display area, respectively. The display area is, on the contrary, dispersed all over the surface of a bangle or means having a similar form.

Abstract: A receiving scanner and an emitting scanner are working together synchronously for either analyzing or reconstructing a model or pattern. The reconstruction of the pattern can be carried out by a laser with deflectable light beam, whereby the laser beam bleaches the color points of a special copy paper in correspondence to the colors of the pattern. Thus, black-and-white as well as colored copies can be made very quickly and of high quality.
