  • Patent number: 7416144
Abstract: A percussion tool for comminuting materials, in particular wood waste materials, having a beater head and a shank, wherein a cutting insert with an upper cutting edge extending transversely with respect to the cutting direction is fastened on the beater head. If the cutting insert has at least one first cutting element and at least one second cutting element, and if a free space in the shape of the upper cutting edge is arranged on the beater head in the cutting direction behind the cutting insert, then the cutting elements are thus supported over a greatest possible surface and are connected with the beater head. It is thus possible to transfer greater forces into the beater head without it being broken off.

  • Patent number: 6971598
Abstract: A cutter body with a beater having a bearing body, which is penetrated by a bearing bore, wherein a beater head adjoins the bearing body via a connecting section, and the bearing body has lateral faces which receive the bore openings and are arranged on a side, transversely with respect to the bearing axis of the bearing bore. For increasing the operational dependability, at least one of the lateral faces is formed as segments.

  • Publication number: 20050139396
Abstract: A fixing arrangement for holding a cutting tooth on a cutter. The cutting tooth has a tool head and a shank. The shank is accommodated in a shank-receiving element of the cutter or a holder connected to the cutter. One or several bearing surfaces of the cutting tooth each lies on support surfaces of the cutter. The cutting tooth can be supported in a stable and reliable manner by inclining the support surfaces and the bearing surfaces in a peripheral direction and by providing the cutter with a shoulder which is arranged in the direction of the cutter in an offset position relative to the bearing surfaces, the shoulder being associated with the cutting tooth at a distance.

  • Publication number: 20050084349
Abstract: A drilling tool having a drill bit with an annular base body that can be fixed to a hollow cylindrical drill pipe. The base body has tool recesses distributed around the circumference of the side facing away from the drill pipe and which hold interchangeable cutting teeth, the tool head of the teeth projecting in an axial direction above the base body. A shaft, which is mounted in a shaft cavity of the tool recess, is coupled to the tool head. This invention provides an optimized tool in terms of technology and resistance to wear. To achieve this, the shaft is mounted in an insertion channel of the shaft cavity, the insertion cavity terminates in an opening, which accommodates a nut, the shaft has a threaded section that projects into the opening and is screwed into the nut and the cutting tooth is held in a prestressed manner against one or more supporting surfaces of the tool recess.
