  • Patent number: 4150075
Abstract: Continuous foam blocks with rectangular cross-section are produced on a side-limited conveyor band by feeding a foamable mixture to a cover foil travelling with said conveyor band and covering the free surface of the mixture with a bearing layer not earlier than immediately after the supply of the mixture and not later than before the zone in which a skin would be formed on the free surface of the block.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: April 17, 1979
    Assignee: Maschinenfabrik Hennecke GmbH
Inventors: Willi Schmitzer, Reiner Raffel, Ferdinand Althausen, Ferdinand Proksa
  • Patent number: 4060579
Abstract: Foam blocks are continuously produced on a conveyor belt having lateral boundaries, the application zone for the mixture being adjustable in its inclination, and a feed means for the cover sheet of the conveyor belt being provided before the point at which the mixture is applied.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 11, 1975
Date of Patent: November 29, 1977

  • Patent number: 3960506
Abstract: Apparatus for the production of homogeneous material or foam from a plurality of components. A three-way valve is communicated with supply tanks for the components by pipes having pumps interposed therein. The valve cock has a mixing chamber therein and an outlet for discharge of the mixed components to a mold, and is provided with passageways so that depending on the position of the cock the components can be delivered to the mixing chamber or to return lines for the individual components which lead to the intake side of the pumps. The components are constantly pumped, passing either to the mixing chamber or to the return lines.
