  • Publication number: 20220369308
Abstract: A display system can be configured to receive, via a user interface, a first identifier associated with a first space object and determine a first maneuver of the first space object. The first maneuver can include a perturbation of the path of the first space object. Based on the first identifier and the first maneuver, the display system can identify one or more path parameters associated with a path of the first space object and generate a display interface. The display interface can include a longitude-time graph having a longitude axis spanning from a lower-longitude limit to an upper-longitude limit and a time axis spanning from the lower-time limit to the upper-time limit and an indication of the one or more path parameters.

  • Patent number: 11487672
Abstract: Aspects of the invention include computer-implemented methods, systems, and computer program products that access a multi-copy scope directory state of a cache memory that indicates a scope of sharing of a cache line in a cache memory system and determine a scope of sharing of the cache line in the cache memory system based on the multi-copy scope directory state, where the multi-copy scope directory state enumerates a plurality of scopes within the cache memory system. The scope of sharing is used to reduce a number of queries to one or more cache memories having a larger scope than a shared scope identified in the scope of sharing. The multi-copy scope directory state of the cache memory is updated based on detecting a change in shared scope of the cache line within the cache memory system.

  • Publication number: 20220327518
Abstract: A multi-purpose smartcard is disclosed. a computer-implemented method of controlling a smartcard. The smartcard can include a near-field communication (NFC) system. The NFC system can be configured to communicate with remote computing systems. The smartcard can include one or more computing chips embedded in the smartcard. The smartcard receives, from a provisioning computing system accessible to a user, a transaction type indicator and transaction data, the transaction type indicator indicating a particular transaction type from a plurality of potential transaction types. The smartcard stores, in the one or more computer-readable media of the one or more computing chips, the transaction data. The smartcard communicates, using the NFC communication system and in accordance with the transaction type, the transaction data to an authentication computing system.

  • Publication number: 20220301063
Abstract: This invention supports creation and use of data-management-system metrics. Information relating to the value of an enterprise's data and the value of the enterprise may be collected from various publicly available networks for various enterprises. This information may used to determine the relative financial-impacts of the various enterprise data-management systems. For example, a data-monetization index (DMI) may consist of the ratio of the value of enterprise data to the value of the enterprise. An enterprise's DMI may be compared to other enterprise's DMI or industry-aggregate DMI to determine the relative data-management-system impacts. Data-management-system metrics from external enterprises may be compared with a subject enterprise's internally generated metrics to assess potential relative weaknesses in the subject enterprise's data-management system and to recommend work-flow or other actions to address those weaknesses.

  • Publication number: 20220300872
Abstract: This invention supports a unified process for data monetization. The process consists of six major steps: create a data balance sheet, calculate a value of data, create a data risk registry, develop a data balance sheet, establish a data exchange, and realize the enterprise value of data. The difference between data assets and data liabilities results in an enterprise being either data bankrupt if data assets are less than data liabilities or data solvent if data assets are greater than or equal to data liabilities.

  • Publication number: 20220249863
Abstract: Dynamic dosing systems for phototherapy and associated devices, systems, and methods are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a dynamic dosing phototherapy system can include a self-service phototherapy kiosk (“SPK”) configured to emit UV radiation, a user interface communicatively coupled to the SPK, and a dynamic dosing system communicatively coupled to the user interface and the SPK. The dynamic dosing system can determine initial, user-specific parameters specific to define a first individual phototherapy protocol, and then determine adjustments to the initial parameters and the first individual phototherapy protocol based on user inputs related to erythema response to a previous phototherapy treatment session. The SPK can deliver UV radiation to a user in accordance with the first individual phototherapy protocol and/or an adjusted, second phototherapy protocol that takes into account the user's erythema response.

  • Patent number: 11348579
Abstract: A system incorporating volume activated communications. A system with local devices linked to a remote server that is capable of processing voice commands is capable of linking local devices in a communications link where the link is initiated upon high volume speech being detected by a receiving device. A target device is determined based on an estimated connection between users at the respective devices. Audio is then sent from the receiving device to the target device resulting in a communication link between the two devices, allowing communication between the users.

  • Patent number: 11327949
Abstract: A system that implements a data storage service may store data for database tables in multiple replicated partitions on respective storage nodes. In response to a request to back up a table, the service may export individual partitions of the table from the database and package them to be independently uploaded (e.g., in parallel) to a remote storage system (e.g., a key-value durable storage system). Prior to uploading the exported and packaged partitions to the remote storage system, the service may verify that the exported and packaged partitions can be subsequently restored, which may include unpackaging and/or re-inflating the exported and packaged partitions to create additional unpackaged copies of the partitions, re-importing the additional unpackaged copies of the partitions into the database (e.g., as additional replicas), and/or comparing checksums generated for the exported partitions with checksums generated for the additional unpackaged copies of the partitions.
