Abstract: The present inventive concept is generally directed to a computer-based system and associated methods for facilitating business referrals, matching consumers with compatible providers of goods and/or services. In an embodiment, the system comprises a business-referral website through which consumers can place bids for any product or service whatsoever. In an embodiment, there are functional modules designed to serve the following actors: Consumers, Goods/Service Providers, System Administrators, and sales/Marketing Agents. The system allows Consumers who are looking for a particular good or service to publish a “Bid” within the system, which in turn will logically match the Consumer offering with one or more Providers based on the Consumer-offer details; that is, product/service category and description, geographical area for delivery of the needed goods/services, and the offered price.
