  • Publication number: 20170363663
Abstract: The present disclosure generally describes a system that includes a heater, a power converter including a power switch, and a controller. The power converter is in communication with the heater and is operable to apply an adjustable voltage to the heater. The controller is in communication with the power switch to control the voltage output of the power converter based on at least one of a load current and a detected voltage at the heater. The controller operates the power switch to adjust the voltage output of the power converter.

  • Publication number: 20060002380
Abstract: A dial plan for a gateway in a packet based voice system provides call re-direct functionality to the system. The dial plan allows a gateway to process all incoming and outgoing calls for an enterprise, thereby minimizing required interface with an existing PBX. The dial plan identifies a given call as an incoming call from a data network, an incoming call from the PSTN, or an outgoing call from the PBX at an enterprise. The dial plan further identifies a desired route for transmitting the call to a desired destination. If the desired route is over a data network, the dial plan tests the route to determine its availability, and if it is not available determines an alternate re-direct route over the PSTN.

  • Patent number: 4917527
Abstract: A mechanical clamping device for coupling any an object requiring infinite positioning to a fixed surface and which quickly and easily locks the object firmly in position without the use of electricity or hydraulic fluids. A triple pivoting linkage is employed which magnifies the force applied to a locking lever to thereby facilitate locking of the object in position. The ball seat configuration provides an additional force magnifier at the interface of the ball of the object being clamped and a ball seat defined within the clamping device. An adjusting screw is preferably provided for selectively varying the play between upper and lower clamping plates thereby enabling the clamping force applied to a ball within the device to be varied.

  • Patent number: 4312176
Abstract: In a mower equipped with a grasscatcher, the grasscatcher is attached easily by means projecting upwardly from a deck of the mower, means being integral to a rigid portion of the grasscatcher and embracing the projecting means when the grasscatcher is mounted to the deck, and a block which cooperates with an upper lip on the rigid portion so as to restrain the grasscatcher from being detached unintentionally from the deck if the grasscatcher happens to be bumped from beneath, but so as to enable the grasscatcher to be detached easily.
