Abstract: A front facing line terminal block assembly for a telecommunications network has an external housing mountable to a frame and a field block housing pivotally mounted to the external housing. The field block housing mounts a field block bearing a plurality of wire connectors. The external housing is capable of accepting the field block housing. A first set of retention elements is capable of positively locking the field block frame in a first, retracted position. A second set of retention elements is capable of positively locking the field block housing in a second pivotally rotated position wherein it is rotated outwardly of the external housing. An access door is pivotally mounted to the field block housing.

Abstract: A modular distribution frame assembly for carrying telephone line terminal and protection blocks in a substantially factory-prewired condition. The frame has a base for securing to a floor support and a telescopic upper end for securing to an overhead support. The protection blocks are mounted on one side of the frame in a vertical array. The line terminal blocks are mounted on the other side of the frame in horizontal arrays. The frame includes horizontal channels which open only to the side on which the terminal blocks are mounted. The arrays of terminal blocks are mounted above and below each channel. Any one of the protection blocks may be connected to any one of the terminal blocks in one of the arrays. The horizontal channel may be used to receive wires which are used to jumper between the array of line terminal blocks which are connected to the protection blocks and the other array of terminal blocks mounted adjacent the channel.

Abstract: A modular termination system includes one or more first terminal block modules aligned side by side and second terminal block modules spaced vertically below the first modules. Jumper routing modules are interposed between the first terminal block modules and second terminal block modules and between the two rows of second modules for orderly routing of jumper wires. The second modules are hingedly mounted to a base which also mounts a plurality of cable connectors and cable guides disposed for orderly arrangement of cables running to the cable connectors. The hinges allow access to the backs of the terminals on the second terminal block modules, and to conductors wired to the back sides of the terminals from the cable connectors. The first terminal block modules are mounted upon panel-supports which also mount similar cable connectors which are joined by conductors to the back sides of the terminals on these terminal block modules.
