  • Publication number: 20230121670
Abstract: A method is described herein for forming a high-capacity thin-film battery. The thin-film battery utilizes a cathode containing each of lithium, ruthenium, cobalt, and oxygen. The cathode composition is synthesized as a solution of LiRu2O3 and LiCoO2 and deposited on a substrate using a physical vapor deposition sputtering technique. The cathode is then covered by an electrolyte and an anode to form a thin film battery. The cathode within the resulting thin film battery may be as-deposited and without being annealed to have an amorphous composition, or the cathode may be annealed after depositing the cathode.

  • Patent number: 11617088
Abstract: A real-time spectrum optimization and allocation is provided within multifunction, co-located, interacting heterogeneous networks. Quantum statistical allocation techniques may be adapted to networks with nodes that behave indistinguishably and distinguishably, within a common geographic locational area. If the network nodes are indistinguishable, their statistical behavior may be Fermionic or Bosonic. Fermionic nodes occupy a single or the same state with some form of degeneracy. Bosonic nodes may occupy a single or the same state, with or without degeneracy. If the nodes are distinguishable, then their statistical behavior is Boltzmann-like, and they may occupy the same state provided there is degeneracy to the overall bandwidth allowing information to be transferred.

  • Publication number: 20220309456
Abstract: Systems, methods, and machine-readable media are provided for processing items within an automated storage and retrieval device. A scanned machine-readable identifier associated with an item is received at an automated storage and retrieval device. A determination is made whether the machine-readable identifier that was scanned is a container identification (ID). The machine-readable identifier is identified based on pre-defined criteria when the machine-readable identifier is determined not to be a container ID. The machine-readable identifier is mapped to an existing order using stored order information. A container ID is created by the fulfillment system and passed back to the automated storage and retrieval device. The item is stored in the automated storage and retrieval device using the created container ID.

  • Publication number: 20220128969
Abstract: The disclosure is directed to a novel system and methods for modeling process components using segmental analysis. As opposed to analyzing the entire system at once, each element representing a process component is assigned parameter inputs that enable the system to determine a current state. Changes in the element's parameter inputs are fed in a bi-directional manner to other elements connected by segments where the other elements use the parameter inputs to determine a predictive or current process condition that are used as new parameter inputs for the next element. In some embodiments, the system allows for the prevention of component state change with only a portion of the entire process being solved, as abnormal conditions can be detected without solving for the entire system.
