  • Patent number: 7020129
Abstract: Apparatus and a method for serving telecommunications customers, using the transmission capabilities of a Packet Network. A customer having Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) that includes a Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)/Gateway for communicating with a Packet Network, is connected to a port of the Packet Network. The customer is connected to the Gateway of a Home Switch via the Packet Network, and is also connected to Gateways of one or more Guest Switches. The customer has telephone numbers in the Home Switch and each of the Guest Switches. Callers can call the customer as if that customer were directly served by the Home Switch or any of the Guest Switches. Advantageously, the customer and callers to that customer are billed only for the short, usually local, call rate from the selected Home or Guest Switch. Advantageously, the customer can make outgoing calls dynamically via any of the Guest Switches.

  • Publication number: 20050115119
Abstract: A farm implement for replacing displaced earth into a wheel track rut includes a pair of blades and a rotatable auger carried by a frame which is moved over and along a rut. The blades scrape displaced earth laterally toward and into the rut, and the auger discharges the scraped earth to the rear of the frame. A weighted wheel pulled behind the frame compacts the discharged earth and stabilizes the frame against unwanted transverse movement.

Callers can call the customer as if that customer were directly served by the Home Switch or any of the Guest Switches, using the appropriate telephone numbers. The customer can call telephones accessible from the Home Switch as well as any of the Guest Switches by specifying to the CPE/Gateway that the connection via the Packet Network is to be to a port of the selected Home or Guest Switch. Connections are then completed from that selected switch.

  • Patent number: 4227854
Abstract: Apparatus for moving a tube bundle out of or into a heat exchanger shell consists of an elongated frame structure including a pair of parallel spaced beams, a mobile carriage to support the tube bundle and mounted on the parallel beams for movement along them, clamps to connect and lock the elongated frame structure to the shell of the heat exchanger, a mobile sub-frame carrying a hydraulically-operated force-exerting mechanism to be connected to the tube bundle to move it out of the shell, and laterally positioned stops along the length of the frame structure to provide opposing thrust surfaces to the thrust exerted by the force-exerting mechanism so as to effect movement of the tube bundle along the frame structure.
