  • Patent number: 5137848
Abstract: A dielectric composition comprising an admixture of finely divided particles of(a) 65-94 wt % of a non-reducing amorphous glass comprising of 15-27% ZnO, 8-30% alkaline earth metal oxides including 7-21% BaO, 40-60% SiO.sub.2, 3-14% Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, 0-5% PbO and 0.5-5% of a metal oxide selected from ZrO.sub.2, up to 2.5% P.sub.2 O.sub.5 and mixtures thereof, the composition being crystallizable and non-reducing when fired at 850.degree.-900.degree. C.(b) 30-5 wt % of a metal oxide of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, ZrSiO.sub.4 and mixtures thereof,(c) 1-5 wt % of a metal oxide kerf additive of CoAl.sub.2 O.sub.4, Co/CrAl.sub.2 O.sub.4, CoO, CoCr.sub.2 O.sub.4, Cr.sub.2 O.sub.3, TiO.sub.2, and mixtures thereof, where the sum of the components a and b does not exceed 35% by weight of the total particulate admixture, and(d) optionally, 1-10 wt % of either a TCE reducing additive of zircon, mullite, silica, and mixtures thereof or a TCE increasing additive of CaZrO.sub.3, quartz, .alpha.-cristobalite and mixtures thereof.

  • Patent number: 5045874
Abstract: Film is developed in a processor by passing it through a container of development solution, then a container of a fixer solution, and then the film is passed through a wash container where it is washed with water before delivery to a dryer. As the film is transported from the developer container to the fixer container, and from the fixer container to the wash container, it travels through crossover assemblies having a roller that is rotatable in a trough of water so that the roller is constantly cleaned of developer or fix solutions. A water distributor system for delivering water to the crossover assemblies has a channel for water which has one end located to deliver water to the trough in the first crossover assembly and a second end located to deliver water to the trough of the second crossover assembly. Water is metered from a single conduit to the channel and separated into separate streams for delivery to the two troughs.

  • Patent number: 4341862
Abstract: Process for the production of vesicular recording materials. The photographic characteristics such as speed and contrast of vesicular recording materials are improved by treating the light-sensitive vesicular recording layer with an aqueous medium at 5.degree. to 30.degree. C. for at least 45 minutes. The treatment may be effected by spraying with cold water and winding the wet material into a roll. Water marking in the wound roll can be avoided by coating the recording layer prior to water treatment with an antimarking composition such as a solution of nitrocellulose.

  • Patent number: 4021014
Abstract: A form for concrete which has inner and outer walls spaced apart. Each wall is formed by a plurality of vertical elements abutting each other vertically. A row of whaler lookout plates are mounted on the abutting sides of the vertical elements and support a whaler rod which holds the vertical elements together to form a wall.
