  • Patent number: 12276549
Abstract: Embodiments herein describe spectroscopy systems that use an unmodulated reference optical signal to mitigate noise, or for other advantages. In one embodiment, the unmodulated reference optical signal is transmitted through the same vapor cell as a modulated pump optical signal. As such, the unmodulated reference optical signal experiences absorption by the vapor, which converts laser phase noise to amplitude noise like the other optical signals passing through the vapor cell. In one embodiment, the unmodulated reference optical signal has an optical path in the gas cell that is offset (or non-crossing) from the optical path of the modulated pump optical signal. The unmodulated reference optical signal allows removal or mitigation of the noise on the other optical signal.

  • Publication number: 20250086299
Abstract: A system and method of an in-place content management system that allows an organization to bring the power of an enterprise content management (ECM) system (supporting such features as check-out, check-in, security, audit, add, rename, move, delete, classification, legal holds and disposition) to the data where it resides on an NTFS file system, eliminating the need to move it somewhere else and without having to change the way end-users work. A utility or tool for content management that leverages the existing security that is already in place on files and folders and adds basic content management features such as check-out/check-in (preventing multiple users from editing the same document at the same time), audit history, and the ability to add classifications, trigger dispositions, and apply legal holds on documents where they currently reside.

  • Patent number: 12230492
Abstract: Embodiments herein describe using compressed source material to perform an atomic experiment or an atomic application within a vacuum chamber (e.g., an atom cooling and trapping apparatus). Source material is often refined and sold with dendritic or crystalline surfaces that result in a very large surface area. This surface area increases the likelihood that a large amount contaminants will form on the surface, which is especially true for reactive source materials. To mitigate the risk of contamination, in the embodiments herein the source material is compressed onto a substrate. This changes the material from having a dendritic or crystalline surface to a flat surface, which has a much smaller surface area and thus is less susceptible to contaminants which can, for example, improve the lifetime usage of the source material.

  • Publication number: 20250021609
Abstract: A system and method of an automated client server architecture for describing, controlling, and executing a collection of “tools” that can be collectively used to automatically create or update an Index (via crawling) and then automatically enriching that Index (via various enhancement tools) while requiring minimal human intervention. Agents (Clients) can announce their availability to Control Center (server) for authentication and units of work. The Control Center coordinates and distributes work to authenticated Agents, including the software to perform the work, as required. This disclosure seeks to resolve the issue of enabling a suite of tools to be implemented and executed on a host file share, ECM and other non-ECM content stores in such a manner that minimizes the requirement for human intervention while also minimizing any impact to system or network performance for end users, while facilitating the benefits of these processes in a timely and effective manner.

  • Patent number: RE50400
Abstract: Systems and methods for synchronizing the playback of streamed content on multiple playback devices is disclosed. The systems and methods include receiving time information based on a network time source in the playback devices connected to a defined network. The playback clock in each playback device is set based upon the time information. A first playback device then generates presentation time information including a start time for playback and broadcast the presentation time information to the other playback device over the defined network. The playback devices use the presentation time information to adjust the presentation time stamps of the frames of the media content in the stream.
