  • Publication number: 20230413767
Abstract: A novel maize variety designated X13V194 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X13V194 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X13V194 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X13V194, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X13V194 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X13V194 and methods of using maize variety X13V194 are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6590481
Abstract: An electrically powered, fast acting transfer switch utilizes a single action solenoid that, alternately, through a mechanical assembly, moves the handle of one electric power switch between OFF and ON positions. A coupling including a rigid strap operates the handle of a second electric power switch oppositely between ON and OFF positions. The mechanical assembly includes an electromagnet drive plate to which the electromagnet of the solenoid is secured and an armature drive plate carrying the solenoid armature. A latch mechanism alternately holds one drive plate and then the other stationary so that the electromagnet and armature alternately move to effect reciprocal movement of the handle of the one electric power switch, and through the rigid strap, the handle of the second electric power switch.

  • Patent number: 6577216
Abstract: An electrically powered, fast acting transfer switch utilizes two electric power switches mounted in spaced relation with the handles confronting and moveable in a common plane, but in opposite directions, so that when simultaneously operated by an electrically powered operator positioned between the two switches, one switch is ON and the other is OFF. A mechanical assembly converts the motion of a single acting solenoid into reciprocal operation of the switch handles.

  • Patent number: 6563406
Abstract: A circuit breaker includes a plurality of poles that are connected with one another in parallel, and additionally includes a mutual connection connecting the poles with one another to isolate the trip units associated with the poles from any imbalance in the current flowing through the poles. Each pole includes a first conductor structured to be connected with a power source, a second conductor structured to be connected with an electrical load, and a pair of separable contacts that disconnectably connect the first conductor with the second conductor. The trip unit of each pole is configured to measure the current flowing through a given point of the second conductor, and the mutual connection connects the second conductors together at a connection point, the connection point of each second conductor being between the separable contacts and the given point.

  • Patent number: 6513030
Abstract: A method and system that processes a storage mechanism-independent query is described. The method and system identifies at least one persistent storage mechanism, that is capable of providing data for satisfying the query from among at least two persistent storage mechanisms. Data satisfying the query is derived from the identified persistent storage mechanisms.
