    Abstract: The present invention is a method for surveying, monitoring and auditing cell towers and antennas emitting radiation such as radio frequency and infra-red radiation using unmanned aerial vehicles. The method employs vertical measurements of signal strength, interference and radiation with a mobile platform for evaluating test data and optimizing network performance and safety. The invention is particularly suited for monitoring and auditing RF antennas situated in a variety of terrains.
