    Abstract: A system according to the present disclosure may include a display unit, a processor communicatively coupled to the display unit and to an ultrasound imaging apparatus for generating an image from ultrasound data representative of a bodily structure and fluid flowing within the bodily structure. The processor may be configured to generate vector field data including axial and lateral (or transverse) velocity components of the fluid flowing within the bodily structure, calculate velocity profiles for a plurality of locations along a wall of the bodily structure based on the axial and lateral velocity components, generate wall shear stress (WSS) visualization data based, at least in part, on the velocity profiles, and cause the display unit to concurrently display the image including the bodily structure overlaid with the WSS visualization data.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides compositions and methods for extended release of certain types of antibodies in vivo. It was discovered that such antibodies are able to initiate reversible gelation of hyaluronic acid (HA) by creating a depot that dissociates over time to release the antibody without any impact on its physical and chemical properties as well as its biological activity. As certain tissues and organs, such as eyes, joints and skins, contain HA, local injection of the antibodies to these tissues or organs will result in embedding of the antibody in gel formed from the HA, which becomes a repository of slow-released antibodies. In addition, slow-released formulations can be prepared with antibodies mixed with HA, optionally with other polymers.

    Abstract: An auxiliary heater with a casing enclosing internal components which components include a heat exchanger separate from and outside the coolant tank and wherein two coolant loops each have their own coolant pumps and wherein a potable water loop exchanges heat with coolant within the heat exchanger. A control circuit provides enhanced coolant flow through the heat exchanger when the call for hot water is significant without significantly reducing the temperature of the hot water being used. A level switch within the coolant tank prevents coolant pumps from running without pump coolant and a filling and air purging operation improves the initial filling operation of the auxiliary heater with coolant and also prevents the coolant pump from running dry. A user switch may dedicate the hot coolant from the coolant tank to either the production of hot potable water or it may share both hot water and space heating.
