  • Publication number: 20180050063
Abstract: Methods of inducing a polarization of macrophages. The method includes obtaining a blood fraction, fractionating the blood fraction to produce a blood fraction, and contacting the blood fraction with a source of macrophages. A blood fraction including platelet-poor plasma polarizes the source of macrophages into M1 macrophages. A blood faction including a protein solution polarizes the source of macrophages into M2 macrophages.

  • Patent number: 9871870
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present methods and systems may focus on computer implemented methods and systems for managing pseudonymous communication sessions. Such a system may include a data store, including data records corresponding to a plurality of available data communication addresses (“DCAs”), and including a first DCA; a CPU; and memory. The memory may include instructions for causing the CPU to execute a method including: obtaining a pseudonymous communication session (“PCS”) initiation request including a second DCA; removing the first data communication address from said plurality of available data communication addresses and associating the first DCA the second DCA in the data store; providing the first DCA in response to said pseudonymous communication session initiation request; and, in the event of obtaining a data communication from a source DCA directed to the first DCA, creating a PCS between the source DCA and the second DCA.

  • Patent number: 9836382
Abstract: A method for the cognitive debugging of a managed system includes first receiving an event in an event management system. Thereafter, a context for the event is extracted therefrom and the context is mapped to both one or more components of a managed computing system and also one or more corresponding debug mode commands for each of the components. Consequently, a debug mode is enabled in each of the components and the corresponding debug mode commands are issued for each of the components so as to provoke a generation of one or more log entries. The generated log entries then are matched to a pre-stored log entry amongst a multiplicity of pre-stored log entries and at least one problem resolution document stored in connection with the matched pre-stored log entry is transmitted to an operator of the event management system.

  • Publication number: 20170317513
Abstract: Unique systems, methods, techniques and apparatuses of onboard battery charger systems are disclosed. One exemplary embodiment is a battery charging system comprising an isolation device and an electric vehicle charger. The isolation device includes an AC input terminal; an AC output terminal; two DC output terminals; a first portion of a detection circuit including a first sensor and a first resistor coupled in series; and a first controller. The charger includes an AC input terminal; two DC input terminals; and a second portion of the detection circuit including a second sensor and a second resistor coupled in series. The first controller is structured to isolate the AC input terminal of the isolation device from the AC output terminal of the isolation device when the two DC input terminals of the electric vehicle charger are not coupled to the two DC output terminals of the isolation device.

  • Publication number: 20170281877
Abstract: A skin sensing system for a drug delivery device includes a control unit and a skin sensor comprising one or more electrodes. The skin sensor may be configured to store a threshold value associated with skin sensing, receive one or more sensed signal values .from the one or more electrodes, compare the one or more sensed signal values with the threshold value, and based on the comparison, transmit a resultant signal to the control unit, The resultant signal is used by the control unit to determine whether a skin surface of a user is substantially proximate to the skin sensor upon receiving the resultant signal. A drug delivery device for sensing contact with the skin includes the skin sensing system. When the skin sensor senses that the drug delivery device is in contact with a patient's skin surface, drug delivery from the device may he permitted.
