  • Publication number: 20200259361
Abstract: A rechargeable battery jump starting device with a control switch (e.g. rotary control switch) and an optical position sensing switch system to determine the position of the control switch. The optical position sensing switch system includes an optical position sensor using optical coupling to insure the integrity of isolation on the 12V to 24V master switch to allow for a safe and effective operation, and configured so that the microcontroller unit reads the position on the master switch.

  • Publication number: 20200242924
Abstract: A traffic and parking management system is in signal communication with vehicles to direct them to park in specific locations that are under the systems authority. The system tracks and determines the availability of parking spaces via a digital camera network, and then allocates spaces based on need, predicted availability, and predicted arrival time at a preferred destination or vicinity. The vehicles are directed to the space so allocated, and in the case of a pay for parking system, billed by the system. The traffic and parking management system operates in conjunction with a smart traffic control device which transmits information to approaching vehicles regarding its current and future state enabling vehicles to control their speed to avoid arriving at the traffic control device until it permits the passage of traffic, thus avoiding stopping, idling and reaccelerating when reaching the traffic control device.

  • Publication number: 20200215926
Abstract: A handheld device for jump starting a vehicle engine includes a rechargeable lithium ion battery pack (32) and a microcontroller (1). The lithium ion battery is coupled to a power output port of the device through a power switch circuit (15) actuated by the microcontroller. A vehicle battery isolation sensor (12) connected in circuit with positive and negative polarity outputs detects the presence of a vehicle battery (72) connected between the positive and negative polarity outputs. A reverse polarity sensor (10) connected in circuit with the positive and negative polarity outputs detects the polarity of a vehicle battery connected between the positive and negative polarity outputs, such that the microcontroller will enable power to be delivered from the lithium ion power pack to the output port only when a good battery is connected to the output port and only when the battery is connected with proper polarity of positive and negative terminals.

  • Patent number: 10698682
Abstract: A software development system maps the organization and storage of software or code of a project in a structured database instead of in a series of discrete files and directories in a traditional file system. The code is analyzed and parsed to create parse trees for storage in the structured database. Individual software developers may be presented with the code taking the appearance of a traditional file based representation with each developer being able to have their own customized representation or view of the code to best suit their needs, preferences and current task. To facilitate migration to such system, tools are provided to export a snapshot of the structured database into discrete files in order that existing file based tools may continue to be used.

  • Patent number: 10646737
Abstract: A lightweight trampoline enclosure system has a bed subsystem and an enclosure subsystem. The enclosure subsystem comprises netting suspended from a plurality of flexible poles. Upon a jumper's impact into the surrounding enclosure subsystem, the energy of the jumper's impact is absorbed and distributed outward and away from the location of impact and into the trampoline bed subsystem.

  • Patent number: 10628584
Abstract: A code scanning system has a syntax generation component that receives source code and generates an abstract syntax tree file. The system includes a white list of permitted pure functions, and a black list of prohibited impure functions. In addition, the system includes a static code analyzer for performing static analysis of the source code. The static code analyzer includes a function analyzer that receives the AST file and identifies the functions. Each function is compared to the white list, and if it is present, marked as permitted in a static analysis file. If the function is not on the white list, it is compared to the black list. If it is present on the black list, it is marked as prohibited in the static analysis file. If the function is not on the white or black list, it is marked as “unknown” and subjected to manual analysis.
