  • Patent number: 5433547
Abstract: A shackle including a clevis (10) and a lock pin (12). Clevis (10) includes eyes (16, 18). Eye (16) includes ramps (30). Lock pin (12) includes a head portion (42), radial flange (48), shank (46), coil spring (62), and lock member (60). Lock member (60) includes detents (64, 66) adapted to engage ramps (30). Coil spring (62) biases lock member (60) toward flange (48) so that detents (64, 66) are in a "lock" position and engage ramps (30) when lock pin (12) is threaded into eyes (16, 18).

  • Patent number: 5300096
Abstract: An electrical muscle stimulator converts electromyographic (EMG) signals to digital words for analysis and display by a computer program. The therapist selects a variety of different parameters appropriate for the individual patient, and instructs the device to initiate stimulating signals on command, or upon detection of a suitable EMG signal from the patient. The device that converts digital words representing the selected parameters into complex, bipolar therapeutic pulses. The device can digitally model a wide variety of wave forms and graphically assist the therapist in developing and shaping various wave pulse trains.

  • Patent number: 5114260
Abstract: A closure pin extends through aligned openings in first and second spaced apart eyes at the open end of a substantially U-shaped clevis. One end of the closure pin is threaded and mates with threads in the opening in the second eye. The closure pin includes a head portion and a radial flange at its opposite end, and it carries a releasable lock member. The releasable lock member includes a pair of detents which are positioned in radial slots in the flange. A spring biases the lock member into a position in which the detents extend axially beyond the radial flange towards the threaded end of the pin. A plurality of lock ramps are provided on the outer face of the first eye. The ramps are spaced circumferentially apart.

  • Patent number: 4564351
Abstract: A tip-shaping device for crayons is disclosed. The device includes a cylindrical lower section housing a disposable paper cup for receiving melted wax and a conically-shaped top section holding a heat-conductive member with a tapered internal cavity and a drain opening at the bottom of the cavity for draining melted wax into the paper cup. The heat-conductive member is heated by a ceramic heater connected to a source of electrical power.

  • Patent number: 4423610
Abstract: A device for securing a shackle by limiting the rotation of the cross bolt includes means, such as a jamming block, for blocking the path of rotation of the cross bolt's head, and means for holding the blocking means in its blocking position. This holding means can comprise a flange which will restrict movement of the jamming block, or a spring urging the block into its rotation blocking position. The shackle securing device can be made tamper-proof by locking it onto the eye of a cross bolt with a padlock.
