  • Patent number: 4936470
Abstract: A caddy for storing articles, such as kitchen utensils, having first and second parts provided with pockets for receiving articles to be stored, and are connected by a hinge for swinging movement from a flatwise condition suitable for permitting hanging of the caddy on a wall, wherein the pockets are arranged side-by-side and extend in the same direction, and a folded condition suitable for permitting support of the caddy on a generally horizontally disposed support surface, wherein the pockets are arranged back-to-back and extend in opposite directions. The parts are provided with roller members arranged when the parts are in folded condition to support the caddy on the support surface for rotational movements.

  • Patent number: 4928893
Abstract: A food processor includes a hollow shredder member having food cutting elements, an open mouth container removably insertable within the shredder member for collecting food processed by the cutting elements and a hollow handle member for guiding food into engagement with the cutting elements. The shredder and handle members are releasably rotatably connected for purposes of placing the food cutting elements one at a time in an operative food cutting position relative to the handle member. The processor has a stored configuration wherein the container is placed within the confines of the shredder member and the latter is placed within the confines of the handle member.

  • Patent number: 4317284
Abstract: A knife, fork and spoon are held together magnetically. The outside edges of the fork tines correspond to the curvature of the spoon bowl, and the tines are curved to correspond to the interior of the spoon bowl. The major faces of the knife blade are perpendicular to the major faces of the knife handle, and the knife blade extends between the fork tines toward the longitudinal centerline of the spoon bowl. The tip of the knife blade lies near the forwardmost edge of the spoon bowl, and the cutting edge of the knife blade has a curvature corresponding to that of the centerline of the spoon bowl.

  • Patent number: 4224763
Abstract: Horticultural items are displayed in a vase which includes a base for supporting the lower ends of stems of the items at locations spaced from the vertical axis of the vase assembly, and a retainer ring supported exclusively on the stems for holding the stems together in intersecting relationship in an area which is substantially smaller than the area of the base and is spaced above the base and substantially centered on the central axis of the vase assembly. The lower portions of the stems converge upwardly to form a tripod made of stems which support each other and the retainer, with the upper portions of the stems diverging upwardly away from the retainer. A display of horticultural items is prepared by binding the items together by placing a ring around the stems, inclining the stems relatively to each other so the stems diverge from each other in directions leading away from the ring, and inserting the lower ends of the stems in a vessel which prevents the splaying of their lower ends.
