  • Publication number: 20250019760
Abstract: The present disclosure provides compositions comprising enzyme-based reagents, and methods using the enzyme-based reagents, for nucleic acid sequencing. The enzyme-based reagents efficiently remove sequencing read products from a first sequenced region of a template molecule, thereby reducing residual signals in a second sequenced region on the same template molecule.

  • Patent number: 6185550
Abstract: A method for classifying a document based on content within a class hierarchy. The class hierarchy comprises a plurality of category nodes stored within a tree data structure. Each of the plurality of category nodes includes a category name corresponding to a unique directory and a category definition comprising a set of defining terms. The class hierarchy is searched to determine appropriate categories for classification of the document. The document is then stored in directories corresponding to the categories selected for classification. If no categories are produced by the search, a system administrator is notified of the unsuccessful search.

  • Patent number: 6098066
Abstract: A method for searching a document directory hierarchy which partitions a user-initiated search. The document directory hierarchy comprises a plurality of document directories stored in a tree data structure. Each of the plurality of document directories corresponds to a category within a class hierarchy and stores at least one document. A user query comprising one or more search terms is accepted from an input device. If the user query includes a user-selected category, a directed search is performed. However, if the user query does not include a user-selected category, an undirected search is performed. The directed search confines the search to one of the plurality of document directories corresponding to the user-selected category, and returns relevant documents within the user-selected category.

  • Patent number: 6055540
Abstract: A method for creating a class hierarchy containing categories for classification of documents. The class hierarchy is initialized to contain a root category node within a tree data structure. The root category node is defined by a user-defined category name. The class hierarchy is displayed to assist a user in entering a command for manipulating the class hierarchy. A user may select a category command, resulting in the class hierarchy containing a plurality of category nodes. In addition, a user may select a terms command to manipulate terms defining one of the plurality of category nodes.

  • Patent number: 5821651
Abstract: A flywheel controller for commutating a stator of a flywheel is disclosed wherein the flywheel controller includes a sensing unit to sense the position of a rotor and for creating a rotational signal, a control unit operatively connecting to the sensing unit for creating a command signal, and a commutator operatively connected to the controller for receiving the command signal to commutate the stator, wherein the commutator includes a pulse width modulator for controlling power from the flywheel over a first predetermined power range and a step generator for controlling power from the flywheel over a second predetermined power range.
