  • Patent number: 12215992
Abstract: A method for calibrating a flowmeter is provided that comprises determining a relationship between tube period ratio and a flow tube temperature compensation (FTC) value for a plurality of flowmeters. Tube periods of the flowmeter under test are measured. A stiffness-correlated FTC is calculated using the determined relationship between the tube period ratio and the FTC value for the plurality of flowmeters and the measured tube periods of the flowmeter under test. The stiffness-correlated FTC is applied to an operating routine (314) of the flowmeter under test.

  • Patent number: 12214974
Abstract: A right angle transfer device has a conveying surface defined by a plurality of conveying members that are driven to convey objects in a conveyance direction. A diverting conveying member is mounted to a frame and is driven to divert objects in a direction angled away from the conveyance direction. A lift drive rotates a cam to move a bar in a substantially horizontal direction. The movement of the bar causes a frame link connected to the bar and the frame to raise and lower the frame. Once the frame has been moved upward to a sufficient extent, the diverting conveying member will be raised above the conveying members to come into contact with the object to thereby move and divert the object away from the conveyance direction.
