  • Patent number: 11677614
Abstract: A method, apparatus and system for providing stateful service function paths with redundancy are provided. Multiple instances of a service function path are included, each with at least one instance of a stateful service function. The redundant stateful service functions transmit messages between one another to so that the current state is synchronized. Upon failure of a service function in a first instance of the service function path, packets are redirected to a backup associated with the failed service function located in another instance of the service function path. Once processed by the backup service function, the redirected packets may be routed back to the first instance of the service function path.

  • Patent number: 11672357
Abstract: An active mattress encasement which can be relatively easily installed or removed or rotated over a mattress supported by a foundation is disclosed. The encasement is formed to encapsulate a mattress and may include a top panel, a bottom panel and multiple side panels. One or more of the side panels are zippered together, In one embodiment, the un-zippered side panels, i.e. side panels without zippers, fixedly connect the top and bottom portions of the side panels. In another embodiment, an inflatable volume is integrated into the bottom panel. Alternatively, the inflatable volume may be integrated with a separate detachable cover and attached to the bottom panel by conventional means. The top and bottom panels, as well as the side panels may be made from a conventional materials. The underside of the top panel and optionally the inside of the side panels may be coated with a waterproof coating, such as polyurethane (TPU/PU), silicone, and/or urethane to form a waterproof membrane.

  • Patent number: 11678456
Abstract: A hardware assembly for installation in a slide-type mounting rail of an electronic equipment enclosure includes a spring retainer and a hardware component received at least partially within the spring retainer. The spring retainer has a rear wall and a deflectable spring arm extending in a forward direction from each end of the rear wall. Each spring arm includes a distal end that extends inward toward the distal end of the other spring arm. The hardware component includes a generally oblong head and a plurality of cam bosses arranged at a front-facing side thereof. Each spring arm engages and is partially deflected outward by a respective one of the cam bosses, thereby clamping the hardware component within the spring retainer.

  • Patent number: 11674797
Abstract: Aspects of the embodiments are directed to non-contact systems, methods and devices for optical detection of objects in space at precise angles. This method involves the design and fabrication of photodiode arrays for measuring angular response using self-aligned Schottky platinum silicide (PtSi) PIN photodiodes (PN-diodes with an intrinsic layer sandwiched in between) that provide linear angular measurements from incident light in multiple dimensions. A self-aligned device is defined as one in which is not sensitive to photomask layer registrations. This design eliminates device offset between “left” and right” channels for normal incident light as compared to more conventional PIN diode constructions.

  • Patent number: 11676196
Abstract: An online system receives a recipe from a customer mobile device. The online system performs natural language processing on the recipe to determine parsed ingredients. For each of one or more of the determined parsed ingredients, the online system maps the parsed ingredient to a generic item. The online system queries a product database with the mapped generic item to obtain one or more products associated with the mapped generic item. The online system applies a machine-learned conversion model to each of the one or more products to determine a conversion likelihood for the product. The conversion model may be trained based on historical data describing previous conversions made by customers presented with an opportunity to add products to an order. The online system selects a product from the one or more products based on the determined conversion likelihoods and adds the selected product to an order.

The divergent portion may comprise a divergent frustoconical portion and an annular, concave curved portion. A plurality of injection ports may be spaced circumferentially in the convergent frustoconical portion and communicate a liquid into internal channel. The plurality of injection ports may define an opening in the internal channel having a first dimension in a circumferential direction that is larger than a second dimension in a longitudinal direction. The injection mixer may be configured to mix a first fluid flowing through the pipe with the second fluid to form a fully homogenous, dispersed fluid mixture.

  • Patent number: 11678458
Abstract: A method of securing a structure against a slide-type mounting rail of an electronic equipment enclosure includes: providing a hardware assembly having a spring retainer and bolt, a head of which is received at least partially within the spring retainer; positioning the hardware assembly within a T-slot channel of the slide-type mounting rail such that bent edges of deflectable spring arms engage ledges of the T-slot channel to prevent the retainer from rotation; configuring the bolt from an unlocked position to a locked position by rotating the bolt a quarter turn relative to the retainer to position the head transversely within the channel, thereby obstructing the hardware assembly from inadvertent removal from the slide-type mounting rail; placing the structure against the slide-type mounting rail such that a shaft extends through an aperture; and tightening a nut onto the shaft such that the nut is pressed firmly against the structure.
