  • Publication number: 20250044863
Abstract: A system is described for determining accuracy of an eye-tracking device using an oculomotor simulator assembly. The system receives instructions specifying movement for simulated eyeballs in the oculomotor simulator assembly. The system enables movement of the simulated eyeballs based on the received instructions. The system obtains ground-truth values for three-dimensional gaze directions of the simulated eyeballs in response to the enabled movement using projections of laser diodes from the center of the simulated eyeballs during the specified movement. The system additionally gathers three-dimensional gaze directions as determined by the eye-tracking device that is tracking the simulated eyeballs during the specified movement. The system determines accuracy of the eye-tracking device based on the obtained ground-truth values and the determined three-dimensional gaze directions from the eye-tracking device.

  • Publication number: 20250047689
Abstract: A cybersecurity service protects endpoint devices from cybersecurity attacks. The cybersecurity service deploys cybersecurity attack feature vectors to agents in the field. The cybersecurity attack feature vectors are created in the cloud to efficiently describe observed groups of cybersecurity attacks. One method to assemble these is to generate clustering centroids for the observed groups. Each agent monitors its host according to the cybersecurity attack feature vectors. Each agent monitors its host's event behaviors and locally extracts an event behavior feature vector. The agent compares the cybersecurity attack feature vectors to the event behavior feature vector and, if similarity is determined, then the agent determines that the host's event behaviors are evidence of a cybersecurity attack. The agent may implement threat procedures, such as suspending/terminating the event behaviors and generating alerts.

  • Publication number: 20250043775
Abstract: A residential or commercial building has an integrated energy generation and storage system. Photovoltaic (PV) panels on the roof and/or side(s) of the building generate electricity from sunlight. The building includes an energy storage and delivery system includes blocks that can be raised from a lower elevation to a higher elevation to store energy as potential energy of the blocks, and that can be lowered from the higher elevation to the lower elevation to generate electricity. The generated electricity can be used to power systems or appliances in the building. A heat pump is powered by electricity generated by the PV panels and/or the energy storage system to charge a hot thermal energy storage for use in providing hot water or central heating to the building, and to charge a cold thermal energy storage for use in providing central air conditioning to the building.

  • Publication number: 20250046065
Abstract: In the disclosed systems and methods for categorizing medical data, a computer system obtains, in electronic form, a plurality of medical records. Each medical record includes corresponding medical data from a respective medical evaluation and corresponding metadata comprising a plurality of attributes about the respective medical evaluation. Each respective attribute comprises a corresponding string of text. The computer system determines, for each respective pair of medical records consisting of a first medical record and a second medical record, a corresponding pairwise similarity between, for each respective attribute in a set of attributes, the corresponding string of text for the first medical record and the corresponding string of text for the second medical record. The computer system identifies a first subset of the plurality of medical records. Each respective medical record in the first subset is connected to each other through pairwise similarities that each satisfies a similarity threshold.
