  • Patent number: 12422146
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes determining, by a computing device, a location of a source of air contamination associated with a heating element and determining, based at least on the location of the source of air contamination, at least one of an optimal venting location or an optimal venting size of at least one vent of a venting system. The method further includes at least one of: (1) automatically adjusting a respective current location of the at least one vent of the venting system to a respective subsequent location based on the determined optimal venting location; or (2) automatically adjusting a respective current size of the at least one vent of the venting system to a respective subsequent size based on the determined optimal venting size.

  • Publication number: 20240161310
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes accessing an image of a cooking surface, where the image is associated with a field of view that includes the cooking surface. The method further includes identifying, based at least on the image, one or more cookware items within the field of view, associating a unique identifier with each identified cookware item in the field of view, and tracking, using one or more subsequent images of the cooking surface, a location of each of the one or more cookware items relative to the cooking surface.

  • Patent number: 11762515
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes by an electronic device: receiving sensor data indicative of a touch input from one or more sensors of a touch panel of the electronic device, where the touch input occurs at a detected touch location of the touch panel, accessing a baseline of signal data corresponding to the touch panel, calculating a delta change based on the baseline of the signal data and the sensor data, determining a touch state corresponding to the touch input based on a comparison of the delta change to a plurality of touch threshold levels, selecting a touch location prediction method from a plurality of touch location prediction methods based on the touch state, and determining a predicted touch location of the touch input based on the touch location prediction method and the sensor data.

  • Patent number: 11755149
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes by an electronic device: receiving sensor data indicative of a touch input from sensors of a human interface-device (HID) of the electronic device, where the touch input occurs at a set of actual coordinates with respect to the HID, and where the sensor data indicates the touch input occurs at a set of detected coordinates with respect to the HID, determining a context associated with the touch input, determining, by one or more generative models, context-dependent statistics to apply a delta change to the set of detected coordinates, where the context-dependent statistics are based on the context associated with the touch input, and where the one or more generative models comprises one or more system parameters and one or more latent parameters, and determining a set of time-lapsed predicted coordinates of the touch input with respect to the HID based on the delta change.

  • Patent number: 11662079
Abstract: In one embodiment, the disclosure provides an interior luminaire system for emulating natural daylight. The system may include an artificial sunlight system and an artificial skylight system. The artificial sunlight system may include one or more first light sources and one or more first movable lenses paired with the first light sources, respectively. Each first light source may be configured to direct light only at the respective paired lens. Each first light source-lens pair may be operable to generate a set of substantially parallel rays of light. The artificial sunlight system may be operable to generate a movable substantially collimated beam of light comprising the sets of substantially parallel rays of light. The artificial skylight system may include one or more second light sources. Each second light source may be operable to generate omnidirectional rays of light. The artificial skylight system may be operable to generate diffuse illumination.
