  • Patent number: 9335348
Abstract: A high voltage sensing unit includes a housing having an internal bore. A resistive voltage divider, including a primary resistor and a secondary resistor configured in series, is included within the housing. A connecting assembly is configured to attach the high voltage sensing unit to a terminal of a high voltage switching device. The connecting assembly provides an electrical connection from the high voltage switching device to the primary resistor and physically supports the high voltage sensing unit. An interface cable provides an electrical connection from the secondary resistor to a receptacle on the high voltage switching device, which can receive a voltage signal and pass the voltage signal to a controller using existing control wiring.

  • Patent number: 8973519
Abstract: A status indicator includes a display disc with a pin located within a central portion if the display disc, a first colored section, and a second colored section. The status indicator also includes a lens unit with an opaque section and a non-opaque section to alternately reveal the first colored section or the second colored section such that either the first or the second colored section is visible from any angle within a hemisphere below the status indicator. The status indicator also includes an indicator cam configured to receive a linear force initiated by an actuator component and to translate the linear force to a rotational force on the pin. The rotational force causes the display disc to rotate from a first position to a second position that aligns the second colored section with the non-opaque section.

  • Publication number: 20050031688
Abstract: A novel sleep regulating pharmaceutical formulation is introduced, typically implementing two principal drugs having actions which are reversive to one another, yet incorporated into a unitary solid dosage, and prepared for oral administration before bedtime. Usually, structure is configured to initially release a calmative or other sleep-compatible substance by prompt dissolution. The initial release is followed by a specific period of delay, which in basic formulations entails no release of any drug, and which allows a nominal interval of sleep. At the terminus of the delay, a final agent is released to induce wakeup. Incorporation of agents of opposite action within a unitary dosage form renders utility which is uniquely appropriate to the invention. In a preferred embodiment, delay of release and final delivery of wakeup agent are arranged by a dialysis membrane which eventually bursts as a result of osmotic pressure generated by a hydrophilic core.
