In one embodiment, the fastener includes a fastener having a fastener head and a threaded tail, and the fastener may be disposed through a structure and an external panel. The apparatus also includes a retainer housing positioned on the fastener head, where the retainer housing is detached from the fastener. A spring engaging the fastener and the retainer housing is also included within the retainer housing.

The processor accesses the surface profile data for a first surface of a first component and a second surface of a second component, and determines, based at least in part on the surface profile data for the first and second surfaces, a best-fit between the first and second surfaces. The processor determines a first distance from a first edge-of-part point on the first surface to the best-fit, and a second distance from a second edge-of-part point on the second surface to the best-fit. The processor determines a flushness between the first surface and the second surface based at least in part on the first and second distances.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for issuing a credit card to a customer who has difficulty qualifying for unsecured credit or who requests a secured credit card. A card request input is received indicating that a customer has made a request for a credit card, and, in response, a credit card account with an initial credit limit is created for the customer. The initial credit limit is stored by computer. A credit card us issued to the customer before receipt of an indication of a deposit to a savings account to secure the credit card. A balance of the savings account is periodically monitored by computer for an initial deposit, and a new credit limit is computed when the initial deposit has been made.
