    Abstract: A humane sacrificer for animals includes a housing for receiving the head and neck region of an animal, a blade positioned for downward movement associated with said housing, a viewing opening through a wall in said housing so that an operator can see from outside the housing if the animal is properly positioned under the blade and means for guiding the blade so that it can be quickly and forceably moved downward to strike and kill the animal. In one embodiment, the blade is dull and kills the animal in a bloodless manner and in a second embodiment the blade is sharp and decapitates the animal.
