Abstract: An apparatus for securing computing devices and keyboards to a display table. The apparatus may be adjustable to accommodate computing devices of different sizes and keyboards of different sizes. The apparatus includes a number of individual components which assemble together around the computing device and keyboard in such a way that, once assembled to the display table, the individual components may not be adjusted or removed, thus securing the computing device and keyboard to the display table.

In certain embodiments, a security apparatus includes first and second mounting brackets each including a respective support shelf and a respective support arm. One or more brace elements are attached to the support shelf of each of the mounting brackets. Each brace element includes a respective corner element to be placed over a respective one of four corners of a rectangular shaped portable electronic device. A pair of neck portions are securable to one another with the first and second support arms sandwiched therebetween. A collar is configured to be slid over and encase peripheries of the neck portions. One or more bolts or other fastener(s) extending from at least one of the neck portions, or attached thereto, is/are used to secure the security apparatus to a tabletop of a display table or to another display surface.

Abstract: Apparatuses for physically securing a laptop in an open position to a tabletop of a display table or to another display surface are disclosed. In an embodiment an apparatus includes a main body and left, right, and front arms that are extendable and retractable relative to the main body. Left, right, and front side braces are attached respectively to the left, right, and front arms, and are configured to be secured to left, right, and front sides, respectively, of a lower body portion of a laptop. Fasteners extend downward from the main body and are attachable to a tabletop or to another display surface. A lock mechanism can automatically lock the arms in place after they have been at least partially retracted to secure a lower body portion of a laptop to the main body. Releasing the lock mechanism can cause the arms automatically to return to fully extended positions.
