    Abstract: An extruded or molded seal lip which is connected to a vane or louver as a secondary operation during the assembly process, where the seal and louver have connectors suitable for providing a secure connection between the louver and the seal. The louver is part of a group of louvers which function as active ducting for an automobile. Each louver has at least one seal, with one seal from one louver contacting a corresponding louver for preventing airflow through the aperture of a carrier. The seal may be attached to the louver along the face of the louver, or be attached by sliding the louver into a groove formed as part of the louver, or sliding the louver into a groove formed as part of the seal.

    Abstract: The present invention is an integrated step load support for a rear fascia of a vehicle which includes features that are molded in one orientation and folded and fastened in a support orientation. The features are integrated into the existing component configurations of the vehicle, and no additional parts are molded, assembled, or shipped to the customer location. The present invention includes the lower fascia having a molded and support structure which is attached to a main body through the use of living hinge features. The structure is then folded into a support position and locked into place with complimentary folding features molded into the upper fascia. The upper folding structure also incorporates an offset attachment surface without additional tooling action.
