  • Publication number: 20260109417
Abstract: A wear member for a track link of a track link assembly may include a plurality of surfaces, including an upper surface and an opposite planar lower surface. The device may also include a front portion and a back portion, as well as a plurality of dowels extending from the lower surface, including at least one dowel provided on one of the front portion and at least one dowel provided on the back portion of the wear member.

  • Publication number: 20250313288
Abstract: A track link may include two end portions including a pin bore and a bushing bore, both the pin bore and the bushing bore extending between an inner surface and an outer surface of the track link, and a central portion, in between the two end portions. The central portion may include a strut extending at least partially along a central axis of the central portion of the track link, at least two windows extending between the outer surface and the inner surface of the track link, each window being defined in part by the strut, and a dimple on at least one of the outer surface and inner surface, the dimple being located along the central axis of the central portion of the track link and in between the at least two windows.

  • Patent number: 11858565
Abstract: A track joint assembly includes a first track chain and a second track chain, and a track pin including a first pin end, a second pin end, and a center section. A track guiding space extends between the first track chain and the second track chain. The center section of the track pin has an enlarged diameter, relative to first and second pin ends, and an outer wear surface exposed to the track guiding space. The outer wear surface may directly contact a rotatable track-engaging element in a ground-engaging track system, such as a sprocket.

  • Patent number: 11524732
Abstract: A machine system includes a roller frame and a roller assembly mounted to the roller frame. The roller assembly includes first and second clamping collars positioned upon a roller shaft and each including a lower and an upper collar section. Fasteners clamp the lower and upper collar sections to the roller shaft to form static seals. The clamping collars may be formed with splitlines to enable the clamping collars to deform so as to simulate interference fits with the roller shaft.

  • Publication number: 20160280293
Abstract: During the break-in period of track assembly components, galling can occur between the components during use. The components include a pin that is received within a bushing and alternatively a sleeve bearing between the pin and the bushing depending on the load. A method to prevent or reduce galling includes applying a coating of zinc phosphate and a low-friction layer on top of the zinc phosphate. The low-friction coating can be made of WS2 (Tungsten Disulphide), BN (Boron Nitride), MoS2 (Molybdenum disulfide) or PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) and deposited during a mechanical treatment.
