    Abstract: In at least one embodiment, the present invention relates to a vehicle seat assembly comprising a seat frame made of structural foam and having a main body portion having a forward portion and a rearward portion, and a wire attachment bracket having a front attachment tab, a rear attachment tab, and a connecting portion extending between the front and rear attachment tabs. The front attachment tab can be securable to a vehicle floor pan to secure the forward portion of the seat frame to the vehicle floor pan, and the rear attachment tab can be securable to a vehicle floor pan to secure the rearward portion of the seat frame to the vehicle floor pan. In at least one embodiment, the vehicle seat assembly further comprises a cushion supported on the frame, with the cushion being softer than the seat frame, and a trim material disposed over the cushion.

    Abstract: A vehicle seat back cushion assembly includes a substantially U-shaped outer cushion with a removable cushion insert positioned within the central opening formed by the substantially U-shaped outer cushion. The removable cushion insert cooperates with the outer cushion to form an aperture therebetween. Plastic strips are provided on the outer cover and cushion insert such that at least one Christmas tree-type fastener may be inserted through the plastic strips to attach the removable insert and outer cushion to the seat back frame. The cushion insert is also zippered to the outer cushion.

    Abstract: A vehicle seat assembly comprises a lower support frame with a seat back frame pivotally connected to the lower support frame. The back frame includes a headrest portion with an aperture formed therethrough. First and second recliner brackets are secured to the lower support frame between the lower support frame and seat back frame, and each recliner bracket forms a slot therein. A seat dump mechanism includes a lever extending from the aperture with first and second cables operatively connected to the lever. First and second lock-pins are operatively connected to the cable and selectively movable between the first position in which the first and the second lock-pins are engaged within the first and second slots, and a second position in which the first and second lock-pins are disengaged from the first and second slots such that the back frame is disengaged from the recliner to allow pivotal movement of the back frame with respect to the lower support frame.
